The feather duster<\/strong> from FusselZz<\/strong> made a good impression <\/strong>in our test. The feather duster set comes with a telescopic pole and 3 different attachments as well as a small hand duster, which is supplied with a spare dust cloth.
A particular advantage is that the telescopic pole can be extended to a maximum length of 2.45 metres. This makes it easy to remove cobwebs from high ceilings, for example. The feather duster attachment for the telescopic pole can also be bent. This makes it easy to reach all edges of an object and remove dust. Dust and cobwebs are reliably picked up by all attachments.
All feather duster attachments can be washed, making them both reusable and sustainable. Nevertheless, care instructions for cleaning the attachments would have been desirable. Information on the intended use of the individual attachments would also be an advantage.<\/p>

The feather duster set comes in a white box (see picture) and was delivered in an undamaged brown box. The remaining space in the packaging box was stuffed with a lot of plastic.
In terms of “product protection”, the set was very well protected in the box, as the plastic cushions all external impacts on the product.
The set was also packed extremely compactly. The product packaging is thick<\/strong>, extremely sturdy<\/strong> and was customised to the exact<\/strong> dimensions of the feather duster and attachments. This has the advantage that the items do not wobble around inside the packaging.
However, we had to deduct points in the “sustainability” category for the plastic padding. It would therefore be desirable for the product to be supplied with a sustainable alternative to plastic padding. Nevertheless, the product packaging of the feather duster was convincing in the “Sustainability” category. This consists of a cardboard box that can be recycled.
However, labelling of the material composition of the individual feather duster attachments would be desirable.<\/p><\/div>

The extremely comprehensive<\/strong> set is supplied with the following contents:

The contact information such as company name, address and e-mail address can be found on the back of the packaging box. However, we had to deduct ten points in the “Customer information” category, as a customer service telephone number would have been desirable.
Instructions for use and product information on the FusselZz feather duster set were not included in the parcel. However, this would be desirable in order to learn more about the appropriate use of the individual attachments. In addition, instructions would make it easier to understand which attachment can be combined with which handpiece. This is because it was initially unclear how to attach the microfibre attachment in particular.
Amazon also stated that the feather duster attachments are washable. Care instructions would therefore be desirable in order to find out how to wash the attachments.<\/p><\/div>

\u2139\ufe0f Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the product processing. How high quality are the materials used? Is the look and feel satisfactory?<\/p>

Firstly, it should be mentioned that the telescopic handle is made from a high-quality<\/strong> material. It can also be extended to a maximum length of 2.45 metres, which means that even high places can be reached. Even when the pole is extended to its full length, it is very stable<\/strong> and does not wobble. The set’s colour combination of different shades of grey and white also looks modern<\/strong> and is visually very appealing<\/strong>.
All the accessories are very well made. Only the white hand duster attachments lose threads, which is why we have to deduct 15 points in the “workmanship” category.
We could not find any faults in terms of stability. However, the connection point between the telescopic handle and the attachments is made of plastic, which could easily break under certain circumstances.
In the sustainability category, the feather duster set from FusselzZ scored full marks as the attachments are washable and therefore reusable.
In addition, the feel of the off-the-rack handle was convincing. The small indentations in the handle of the telescopic rod are particularly noteworthy, making it easy to hold.
However, the handle of the hand duster is smooth. An ergonomic handle to improve the feel would be desirable here.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Does the manufacturer keep its advertising promises?<\/p><\/div>

\u2139\ufe0f Our practical test is the most relevant and therefore the most important. Here, the product has to undergo a wide range of criteria and tests. We check the functions and product promises of the test article. <\/p>

We tested the feather duster set extensively in our test. We used each attachment to remove dust and cobwebs. To start cleaning, an attachment must first be screwed onto the telescopic rod. This assembly is very easy and the product can then be used straight away. Only with the microfibre attachment was it initially not entirely clear how to fit it. However, an instruction manual could clarify this.
A major advantage is that the telescopic rod can be adjusted to the desired length (maximum 2.45 metres), making it ideal for removing dust and cobwebs from high ceilings, for example. It is therefore very comfortable to use. In our test, all attachments picked up dirt excellently and left the test area clean.
Particularly noteworthy is the large feather duster attachment, which is bendable. This makes it easy to reach all edges of an object and remove dust. A rubber cap on the tip of this attachment makes it scratch-resistant.
In our test, we cleaned dirty air vents with the microfibre attachment (top image) and with the hand feather duster (bottom image). The dust was picked up very well by both attachments.
Unfortunately, no detailed care instructions were included with the set, but we cleaned the attachments under warm water and soap after use. This worked well and the brushes can be reused after drying.
Our only concern about the product is the plastic joints, which could break very easily under certain circumstances. This is because the plastic is very thin at this point and does not appear very robust. <\/p><\/div>

On the Amazon<\/strong> platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.4 stars<\/strong>. The fact that the handles are broken is often criticised. Many customers like the fact that the set makes it easy to reach all areas and remove dust. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the adjustability of the telescopic pole makes cleaning easy, even in difficult places. The handles did not break during our test. However, we can understand that the plastic joints are not very robust and could break under certain circumstances.<\/p>

Prices of up to \u20ac81.74<\/strong> are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from<\/strong> as little as \u20ac15.99<\/strong>. The feather duster from FusselZz<\/strong> is currently in the lower price segment<\/strong> with a price of \u20ac34.90<\/strong>. The price ratio is good<\/strong> for the quality and scope of services you get. <\/p>
