The cast iron roaster <\/strong>from KAISERTAL<\/strong> made a very good impression<\/strong> in our test. In addition to its high-quality workmanship<\/strong>, the product impresses with its simple, well thought-out design<\/strong>. As a true all-rounder <\/strong>, the roaster can be used universally <\/strong>as a pot, Dutch oven, roaster, pan and bread baking tin<\/strong> and is suitable for all types of cookers, ovens and grills<\/strong>.
Its even heat distribution<\/strong> ensures a perfect cooking and baking experience. Bread becomes crispy, roast food remains moist and the food does not burn. A good dash of oil<\/strong> should be added to ensure that the food is removed easily. In addition to the product, the customer receives a small recipe book<\/strong> with different dishes and a manual on the correct handling<\/strong> of cast iron products. If the customer is still not satisfied with the quality of the product, they can make use of the manufacturer’s lifetime guarantee<\/strong>.<\/p>

The cast iron roaster<\/strong> from KAISERTAL <\/strong>arrived for our test in the typical Amazon box. Despite its heavy weight, the box was undamaged <\/strong>on arrival and could be opened without any tools<\/strong>.
The box contained the paper-wrapped roasting pan <\/strong>together with the instructions for use <\/strong>and recipe book<\/strong>. The packaging method optimally protects<\/strong> the product from external influences<\/strong>. Product protection<\/strong> was therefore fully guaranteed<\/strong> and the cast iron roaster was delivered in perfect condition<\/strong>. The packaging is also recyclable<\/strong>. In this respect, the product leaves a very good first impression<\/strong>. Neither the cast iron goods nor the packaging used were damaged.<\/p><\/div>

The cast iron roasting pan and lid<\/strong> were each wrapped in paper. The correct handling (safety instructions, use, baking, cleaning and rust removal instructions) was described in the 5-language instructions for use<\/strong>. There is also a QR code to the manufacturer’s website<\/strong> with further information. However, the online shop has yet to be launched.
The contact information <\/strong>can also be found in the instructions and on the product box. However, there is no customer hotline. Nevertheless, this is a very good way<\/strong> to send a product.<\/p><\/div>

Firstly, it should be mentioned that the roaster makes a very good visual impression<\/strong>. We did not notice any scratches<\/strong> or processing defects <\/strong>on the material. The product also impresses with its appealing<\/strong> yet simple design<\/strong>. The weight of over 6.2 kilograms<\/strong> (pot: 3.7 kg, lid: 2.5 kg) speaks for its robustness. The product can be used universally as a roaster, pot, Dutch oven, pan or bread baking tin<\/strong> and holds a total of 6.5 litres<\/strong> (pot: 4.5 l, lid: 2 l).
All product parts are not dishwasher-safe<\/strong> and must be cleaned without detergent <\/strong>. The roaster must also be baked <\/strong>before first use. This is normal for cast iron products.
There is no information on the sustainability of the product. To ensure a long service life, the manufacturer provides tips on cleaning and removing rust from<\/strong> the cookware in the enclosed instructions for use. The customer also receives a lifetime guarantee<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

\u2139\ufe0f Our practical test is the most relevant and therefore the most important. Here, the product has to undergo a wide range of criteria and tests. We check the functions and product promises of the test article. <\/p>

Before using the cast iron roaster for the first time, the manufacturer recommends baking<\/strong> the product in the instructions for use. You should allow at least one hour<\/strong> before cooking for the first time.
We prepared various dishes for our test, including chicken piri piri, a roast and bread. The product always ensured even heat distribution<\/strong> so that our food was cooked at the right temperature<\/strong> and an even crust<\/strong> was created. However, it should be noted that the handles<\/strong> can get very hot<\/strong> and an oval hob<\/strong> is required for use on the hob. We used a good dash of oil<\/strong> to ensure that the food was easier to remove.
Subsequent cleaning was not always residue-free<\/strong>, but according to the manufacturer, the residues form a natural coating<\/strong>, the so-called patina<\/strong>, which gives the cast iron its special character. Should the material rust, turn grey or<\/strong> become scratched<\/strong>, the manufacturer explains the countermeasures<\/strong> to be taken.<\/p><\/div>

On the Amazon<\/a><\/strong> platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.6 stars<\/strong>. The very good cooking results<\/strong>, the quality <\/strong>of the roaster, the durability <\/strong>and stability<\/strong> were praised above all. Two reviewers had problems with rust<\/strong> on the inside of the roaster, but this could be remedied using the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions<\/strong>.
Overall, the experience seems to be predominantly positive<\/strong>, which we were able to confirm<\/strong> in our practical test. We also had excellent cooking and baking results<\/strong>, are impressed by the quality of the material used<\/strong> and are also delighted with the lifetime guarantee<\/strong>.<\/p>

Prices of up to \u20ac307<\/strong> are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available from<\/strong> as little as \u20ac70<\/strong>. The cast iron roaster<\/strong> from KAISERTAL <\/strong>is therefore in the lower price segment with a current price of \u20ac89.90<\/a><\/strong>. Consequently, the price ratio <\/strong>is very good<\/strong> for the quality and range of services you get.<\/p>
