The “Comfort” carpet underlay <\/strong>from HaftPlus <\/strong>made a very good impression<\/strong> in our test. In addition to the large selection of different sizes<\/strong> and individual customisation <\/strong>, the product impresses with its high-quality workmanship<\/strong>. The material is flexible <\/strong>and tear-resistant<\/strong>, but can still be easily <\/strong>cut to the right size. In use, the product impresses on all smooth floors<\/strong> with its anti-slip effect<\/strong>. The fact that it can be washed by hand<\/strong> guarantees that it can be used even after soiling. Only the chemical odour<\/strong> at the beginning could be perceived as annoying by the customer, but<\/strong> it dissipates after less than a day<\/strong>. The product is OekoTex Standard 100 certified<\/strong> and therefore contains no harmful substances<\/strong> and, according to the manufacturer, no phthalates<\/strong>.<\/p>

The “Comfort” carpet underlay<\/strong> from HaftPlus<\/strong> arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. This was undamaged<\/strong> on arrival, but had to be opened carefully using a tool (scissors, knife, etc.) <\/strong>. Inside the box, the carpet underlay and product description were wrapped in a plastic film. This packaging method optimally protects<\/strong> the product from external influences<\/strong>. Product protection <\/strong>was therefore fully guaranteed <\/strong>and the carpet underlay was delivered in perfect condition <\/strong>.
The packaging is partially recyclable<\/strong>. In contrast, the plastic film cannot be recycled<\/strong>. Notwithstanding this, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div>

Product details, care instructions <\/strong>and its dimensions <\/strong>could be taken from the enclosed product description <\/strong>in the form of a DIN A4 sheet of paper. The contact information <\/strong>can also be found on this sheet. However, there is no customer hotline or email address. Nevertheless, this is a good way<\/strong> to send a product.<\/p><\/div>

Firstly, it should be mentioned that the “Comfort” carpet underlay makes a good visual impression<\/strong>. We didn’t notice any visual defects<\/strong>, the material is flexible without deforming<\/strong> and tear-resistant<\/strong>.
The design is simple <\/strong>and plain-coloured <\/strong>. Although there could certainly be a greater choice of colours for different floors and carpet colours, the underlay should ideally not be visible, which is why the colour<\/strong> should not be relevant<\/strong>.
After unpacking, the carpet underlay still has clear creases<\/strong> from the folded dispatch, but these are not a problem<\/strong>. The product also emits a slight chemical odour<\/strong>, which dissipates<\/strong> over time. We would attribute this to the anti-slip coating, which is based on acrylate.
The product is OekoTex Standard 100 certified<\/strong>, so it contains no harmful substances<\/strong> and, according to the manufacturer, no phthalates<\/strong>. HaftPlus <\/strong>has also thought about sustainability, as the carpet underlay can be washed by hand and can therefore be used again after soiling.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

\u2139\ufe0f Our practical test is the most relevant and therefore the most important. Here, the product has to undergo a wide range of criteria and tests. We check the functions and product promises of the test article. <\/p>

The “Comfort” carpet underlay is suitable for smooth floors<\/strong> such as laminate, parquet, PVC, stone floors and cork. In our test, it was used on laminate<\/strong>.
The product does not initially mould perfectly to the floor due to the folded edges. However, as soon as the carpet is placed on it, the unevenness is no longer noticeable. The grip on the floor<\/strong> and the carpet <\/strong>is reliable at all times<\/strong>. The rug remains in its intended place even with jerky movements.
With a height of around 2 mm<\/strong>, the product is not noticeable. The feel of the carpet changes for the better<\/strong>, as it is now more resilient. The carpet underlay can be cut to size individually<\/strong> to ensure<\/strong> that it can be used with all carpet formats<\/strong>. In our test, we were able to adjust the material without any problems <\/strong>using scissors and without any messy edges<\/strong>. It can be cleaned by hand washing<\/strong>. Even afterwards, the underlay still offers the usual anti-slip effect<\/strong>, so that the product continues to prove itself as a reliable and durable underlay.
The tested “Comfort” model in the 80×200 cm size is also available in 40×60 cm, 60×120 cm, 80×150 cm, 120×180 cm and 140×200 cm.<\/p><\/div>

On the Amazon<\/a><\/strong> platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.3 stars<\/strong>. Some complain that the product leaves residues or stains <\/strong>on the floor and smells unpleasant<\/strong>. On the other hand, several reviewers emphasise that the unpleasant odour disappears quickly<\/strong> and that the carpet underlay can be removed without leaving any residue <\/strong>. They also praise the unbeatable anti-slip effect<\/strong>, which keeps the rug in place even when put to the test by children or pets. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the chemical odour quickly dissipates<\/strong>. No<\/strong> residue could be detected<\/strong> after use, but a long-term test might have been necessary. We were also impressed<\/strong> by the anti-slip effect <\/strong>.<\/p>

Prices of up to \u20ac18<\/strong> are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available for as little as \u20ac14<\/strong>. The “Comfort” carpet underlay<\/strong> from HaftPlus <\/strong>in the size 80×200 cm is therefore in the lower price segment with a current price of \u20ac14.48<\/strong>. Consequently, the price ratio <\/strong>is very good<\/strong> for the quality and scope of services you get.<\/p>
