The “Linda” shower curtain rail<\/strong> from Laakfeld <\/strong>made a very good impression<\/strong> in our test. As well as being easy to install, the product impresses with its simple, timeless design<\/strong>. The material is made of rust-free aluminium <\/strong>and has a high-quality<\/strong> appearance. The flexible 4-in-1 system<\/strong> allows it to be used in numerous situations. The L-shaped rail can also be individually <\/strong> shortened <\/strong>using a hacksaw. The included shower curtain rings allow the shower curtain to be pulled effortlessly over the rail thanks to the sliding rollers. If the customer is not satisfied with the product, the manufacturer grants a 3-year (5-year after registration) right of exchange<\/strong>. In terms of sustainability, the manufacturer participates <\/strong>with its product in various environmental initiatives<\/strong> (Green Dot, 1% for the Planet) and is listed as a climate-neutral company <\/strong>. <\/p>

The “Linda” shower curtain rail <\/strong>from Laakfeld<\/strong> arrived for our test in the product box, which also served as the shipping box. This was undamaged<\/strong> on arrival, but had to be opened using a tool (scissors, knife, etc.) <\/strong>. The box contained the individual product components and the assembly material wrapped in plastic film as well as the instructions for use. The packaging method optimally protects<\/strong> the product from external influences<\/strong>. Product protection <\/strong>was therefore fully guaranteed <\/strong>and the carpet underlay was delivered in perfect condition <\/strong>.
The packaging is partially recyclable<\/strong>. In contrast, the plastic film cannot be recycled<\/strong>. Notwithstanding this, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div>

The product box contained the individual parts of the shower curtain rail <\/strong>, consisting of two straight rods, two curved rods and two wall brackets for variable installation. In addition, 12 shower curtain rings<\/strong> and the necessary installation materials <\/strong>(14 different screws, 8 expansion plugs and an Allen key) are included. The correct installation and safety instructions can be found in the enclosed instructions for use<\/strong>, an English translation of which is available online. Contact information can also be found here. However, there is no customer hotline. Nevertheless, this is a very good way<\/strong> to send a product.<\/p><\/div>

Firstly, it should be mentioned that the “Linda” shower curtain rail makes a very good visual impression<\/strong>. We didn’t notice any manufacturing defects or scratches<\/strong> in the material. The product also impresses with its timeless, sophisticated design<\/strong>. The individual components can be combined effortlessly<\/strong>. Although the manufacturer could certainly offer more colour choices, the plain white should fit into almost any bathroom.
In terms of sustainability, the manufacturer participates <\/strong> in various environmental initiatives<\/strong> with its product (Green Dot, 1% for the Planet) and is listed as a climate-neutral company <\/strong>. The “Linda” shower curtain rail can be installed in four different versions<\/strong> (U-shaped short\/long, L-shaped short\/long) and can also be individually shortened<\/strong>. In our test, we opted for the L-shaped long<\/strong> version, which involves the use of two long and one curved rod. A drill is required for mounting on the wall. Instructions for drilling into tiles<\/strong> can be found in the instruction manual. Although it is a little tricky to install on your own, we recommend that two people work together<\/strong>. Once installed, the shower curtain rail hangs straight<\/strong> and stable<\/strong> even without ceiling fixings. Even a wet shower curtain does not<\/strong> cause any sagging<\/strong>. The enclosed shower curtain rings can be slid effortlessly<\/strong> over the rail thanks to the sliding rollers<\/strong>. Please note that these should be slipped over the rail before fastening in accordance with the instructions, otherwise unsightly scratches may occur. If the 12 enclosed rings are not sufficient, the manufacturer’s customer service <\/strong>can be contacted by email.<\/p><\/div>

Some complain that the screws do not fit into the intended holes<\/strong> or fall apart, meaning that the product cannot be installed or cannot be installed properly. On the other hand, other reviewers had no problems at all<\/strong> during assembly and recommend the product without reservation. Furthermore, the stable impression<\/strong> and the appearance <\/strong>are praised. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the “Linda” shower curtain rail was easy to fit<\/strong>. We also had no problems with the screws supplied, ensuring that the rail was securely in place<\/strong>. <\/p>

Prices of up to \u20ac70<\/strong> are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available for as little as \u20ac20<\/strong>. This puts the “Linda” shower curtain rail<\/strong> in the upper price segment with a current price of \u20ac59.99<\/strong>. As a result, the price ratio <\/strong>is good<\/strong> for the quality and scope of services you get.<\/p>
