Two pockets on the inside <\/strong>provide handy storage space<\/strong> for a mobile phone, book or other items you may need. The hanging chair is suitable for indoor and outdoor use<\/strong> and can be hung up indoors, in the garden or on the patio <\/strong>. The HEIMLING hanging chair<\/strong> arrived in a large, undamaged shipping box. <\/strong>Inside was another cardboard box<\/strong> in which the hanging chair and accessories were carefully packed <\/strong>. This box was carefully lined<\/strong> with the three flat cushions<\/strong>, which were individually wrapped in plastic film<\/strong>. They served directly as impact protection<\/strong> so that the other items in the parcel were very well protected<\/strong>. The metal rod<\/strong>, which was divided into three individual parts<\/strong>, was also<\/strong> wrapped in thick protective film<\/strong>. This plastic film would probably not have been necessary<\/strong> due to the packed cushions, but it can also protect<\/strong> the pole from scratches<\/strong>. The hanging chair itself with the other accessories was packed well and quite compactly in the cotton carrier bag<\/strong>. In any case, the product<\/strong> was fully<\/strong> protected and the hanging chair and accessories arrived in perfect condition<\/strong>.
<\/mark>The packaging of the hanging chair is partially recyclable<\/strong>. The plastic film is not recyclable, but the cardboard box and carrier bag are.

After unpacking, I found several things on the table. In addition to the hanging chair, there were the three cushions<\/strong> and two loose cotton covers <\/strong>(one cushion cover is sewn directly onto the large seat cloth of the hanging chair). A metal pole<\/strong> was also included in the package, disassembled into three individual parts<\/strong>. A suspension device<\/strong> for attaching to the ceiling and four matching screws<\/strong> were also included. The necessary ropes<\/strong>, a chain<\/strong> and two sturdy stainless steel carabiners <\/strong>were also included. A cotton carrying or storage bag<\/strong> for the hanging chair was also included in the package. Instructions on how to set up, use and care for the product <\/strong>can be found in the accompanying instruction manual<\/strong>. These are written in <\/strong> great detail<\/strong> in German <\/strong>and clearly illustrated<\/strong>. We enjoyed testing the HEIMLING hanging chair<\/strong>. With its large seat cloth<\/strong>, it offers enough space to linger and relax<\/strong>. The chair is extremely comfortable <\/strong>and the comfortable cushions <\/strong>can be used as required depending on your sitting position. The fact that the product is offered as a complete set<\/strong>, with all the necessary accessories<\/strong> for hanging, makes assembly much easier. However, the specified drill hole diameter of 10 mm is not exactly right<\/strong>. It may be necessary to re-drill with a larger drill bit. Special screws suitable<\/strong> for concrete ceilings <\/strong>are included<\/strong>. Only in the case of installation on a wooden beam ceiling do<\/strong> the appropriate screws for the suspension need to<\/strong> be obtained.<\/strong> The manufacturer states that the hanging chair can be used both indoors and outdoors <\/strong>. Our recommendation is that the cotton material is only suitable for outdoor use to a limited extent<\/strong>. At least the cushions should always be taken inside after use and the chair should also be hung up protected from the weather if<\/strong> it is to remain outside for longer. This is the only way to guarantee the longevity of the product <\/strong>. The practical inside pockets<\/strong> of the hanging chair are a particularly positive feature.
