In addition to good<\/strong> water absorption<\/strong>, the product also offers a secure grip<\/strong> on the floor. This means that the doormat is highly likely to<\/strong> remain in place<\/strong> despite various environmental influences. What’s more, the dirt-trapping mat is only slightly high<\/strong> and is particularly pleasant and soft<\/strong> to use. In terms of its features, it is very suitable<\/strong> for indoor<\/strong> and covered outdoor areas<\/strong>.
Another plus point<\/strong> of the dust control mat is that it is available in 10 different colours<\/strong> and five different sizes<\/strong>. The product is an EU production<\/strong>, i.e. it is manufactured in the European Union with high quality standards.
In our test, the mat was tested in the size 80 x 120 cm and in the colour anthracite.<\/p>

The Carpet Diem<\/strong> dust control mat<\/strong> arrived in a typical shipping box. The box<\/strong> was undamaged and well sealed<\/strong> with adhesive tape. Inside the box was the rolled-up doormat<\/strong>. We found it very good that no additional plastic packaging <\/strong>was used for sustainable reasons. Excess storage space was filled with paper. The product labelling<\/strong> was affixed<\/strong> to the front<\/strong> of the dust control mat with a sticker<\/strong>. Care labelling<\/strong> was printed on the enclosed instructions for use<\/strong>.
In this case, the product protection <\/strong>was complete<\/strong> and the doormat was therefore in perfect condition<\/strong>.
The packaging of the doormat is completely recyclable<\/strong>.
The Carpet Diem doormat therefore makes a very good impression<\/strong>. <\/p><\/div>

The top side of the product is made of the comparatively environmentally friendly<\/strong> plastic polypropylene<\/strong>. The bendable underside is made of the plastic vinyl<\/strong>.

The doormat<\/strong> lies flat on the floor very quickly after being rolled out and there is no noticeable unpleasant odour.
The edges<\/strong> are distinctive<\/strong> and the transition<\/strong> between the two fabrics is neatly<\/strong> finished.
It is also noticeable that the doormat is very thin<\/strong> overall, as the “stubble” on the top is not particularly high. This makes it easier<\/strong> to clean<\/strong> the mat with a hoover, as the dirt cannot become too deeply embedded in the surface. As the doormat as a whole is also very easy to bend<\/strong>, it can also be cleaned<\/strong> by hand in the shower<\/strong> or bath<\/strong> when wet<\/strong>. The manufacturer<\/strong> advises <\/strong> against<\/strong> cleaning in the washing machine<\/strong> in its instructions for use, as the edges could be damaged<\/strong> by the rough treatment in the machine.
The feel of the outer material is robust<\/strong> yet still pleasantly<\/strong> soft<\/strong>.

The grip on the floor <\/strong>is reliable<\/strong>.
A striking feature is the pleasantly soft surface <\/strong>when wiping off shoes. Nevertheless, dirt<\/strong> is thoroughly removed<\/strong> and water is well<\/strong> absorbed<\/strong>.
If the mat gets too dirty, it can be completely cleaned<\/strong> again by vacuuming or even washing in the shower or bath. This property has a positive effect on sustainability.
Overall, the doormat is very robust<\/strong> and, thanks to its low height, also very versatile in use<\/strong>. It can be used both indoors and in sheltered outdoor areas.
The colour scheme<\/strong> is subtle<\/strong> and blends in beautifully with its surroundings.
