The Werkthor<\/strong> trailer lock<\/strong> made a good impression<\/strong> in the test. The trailer lock with padlock<\/strong> including two keys is made of rustproof and weather-resistant steel<\/strong>. It is foldable<\/strong> and can be attached both coupled<\/strong> and uncoupled<\/strong> as anti-theft protection<\/strong>. The product is suitable for almost any coupling<\/strong>, except for anti-slinging couplings or large couplings. It is not<\/strong> suitable for coupled driving<\/strong>.
Thanks to the wing function<\/strong>, the box lock <\/strong>can be easily<\/strong> placed <\/strong>around the coupling <\/strong>to be protected and securely locked<\/strong> with the lock supplied<\/strong>.

The Werkthor trailer lock<\/strong> arrived in the typical Amazon box. The box<\/strong> was undamaged<\/strong> and easy to open<\/strong> by removing the adhesive tape. The box contained the trailer lock with accessories<\/strong> packed in a product box. It also contained a business card with a brief introduction to Werkthor. The lock itself and the other accessories were wrapped in plastic film<\/strong>. The plastic film might not have been necessary, but it protects<\/strong> the product and accessories <\/strong>from dirt and scratches. In this case, the product<\/strong> was fully<\/strong> protected<\/strong> and the trailer lock was therefore in perfect condition<\/strong>.
The packaging <\/strong>of the trailer lock is partially recyclable<\/strong>. Unfortunately, the plastic is not recyclable, but the Amazon box is.
Overall, the Werkthor trailer lock makes a very good impression<\/strong>. The lock was not damaged and the package was in good condition.<\/p><\/div>

In addition to the fob lock<\/strong>, there was a steel shackle<\/strong>, a cover cap<\/strong>, a padlock<\/strong> and two matching keys<\/strong> in the product packaging. There are no<\/strong> instructions<\/strong> for use. The contact information<\/strong> is given on the product box, only the hotline is missing<\/strong>. All in all, this is an exceptionally well thought-out and customer-friendly way of shipping a product.<\/p><\/div>

The trailer lock is made of rustproof and weather-resistant steel<\/strong> without any annoying corners or edges. The box lock is not firmly<\/strong> connected<\/strong> by<\/strong> the hinge<\/strong>, but falls apart if it is not operated correctly. The steel bracket<\/strong> is also not firmly <\/strong> attached<\/strong> to the lock. However, this is the case with most rim locks and with a little practice<\/strong> it is not a problem<\/strong>.
Due to the high-quality materials used, we expect the lock to be extremely durable.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

We enjoyed using the trailer lock<\/strong>during the test. The lock is sturdy<\/strong> and can be easily<\/strong> attached<\/strong> to the towbar with a little practice. The fact that the trailer lock can be opened completely<\/strong> also has advantages<\/strong> when installing it, as you can simply place the two parts around the coupling without any additional problems. The locking bolt can be inserted quickly and<\/strong> easily, as can the lock supplied<\/strong>. The cap<\/strong> supplied as protection for the towbar is also a nice addition<\/strong>.
