The cable duct <\/strong>from GELSENWERK <\/strong>made a very good impression <\/strong>in our test. The product is made of alloy steel<\/strong> and impresses with its low weight<\/strong> and sturdy workmanship<\/strong>. Installation is child’s play <\/strong>and can be carried out by anyone<\/strong> thanks to the simple installation instructions. The customer can choose between a glued or drilled mounting option<\/strong>, whereby the table top <\/strong>should be at least 18 mm <\/strong>thick. Measuring 12 x 12 x 43 cm<\/strong>, it offers sufficient storage space <\/strong>for all desired cable sizes and multiple sockets. Individual cables can be fixed or connected using the extensive range of accessories <\/strong>. The cable duct cuts a fine figure<\/strong> in any office and brings order <\/strong>to the ubiquitous tangle of cables.<\/p>

The cable duct <\/strong>from GELSENWERK <\/strong>arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. This was undamaged<\/strong> on arrival and could be easily opened by removing the adhesive strip. Inside the product box, the cable duct was wrapped in plastic film. This type of packaging ensured that the product was optimally protected from external influences<\/strong> and shipped hygienically<\/strong>. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed <\/strong>and the cable duct was delivered in perfect condition <\/strong>.
The packaging is partially recyclable<\/strong>. However, the plastic film cannot be recycled <\/strong>. Nevertheless, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div>

After unpacking, there were many items on the desk. In addition to the two cable ducts<\/strong>, cable holders, cable clips, fixing materials<\/strong>, cable ties<\/strong> and a 2 metre long cable conduit<\/strong> were supplied. Proper installation is described on an A4 sheet in German and English with pictures<\/strong>. Contact information can be found on the product box. However, there is no customer hotline. Nevertheless, this is a very good<\/strong> way<\/strong> to send a product.<\/p><\/div>

The cable duct<\/strong> from the GELSENWERK <\/strong>brand makes a very good visual impression<\/strong> in the test. No processing faults <\/strong>are recognisable. In addition, all transitions are cleanly <\/strong>finished and no scratches or edges<\/strong> are visible. The product is made of alloy steel<\/strong> and impresses with its relatively low weight<\/strong> and sturdy workmanship<\/strong>. The cable duct also impresses with its simple and timeless design<\/strong>.
There is no information on the sustainability of the product. However, due to the high-quality materials used, we assume a long service life <\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

We really enjoyed<\/strong> using the cable duct from Gelsenwerk <\/strong><\/strong>during the test. Installation <\/strong>is child’s play<\/strong> and can be carried out by anyone thanks to the simple installation instructions <\/strong>. The customer can choose between the glued or drilled mounting variant<\/strong>. The tabletop should be at least 18 mm<\/strong> thick for the drill holes.
In the test, the cable ducts were glued under an office desk. The adhesive strip holds the product firmly in place. This was also confirmed by T\u00dcV Rheinland<\/strong> in the load test up to 5 kg <\/strong>. Measuring 12 x 12 x 43 cm <\/strong>, it offers sufficient storage space<\/strong> for all required cable sizes and multiple sockets. Individual cables can be fixed or connected using the extensive range of accessories <\/strong>. One criticism is that the adhesive strips do not hold<\/strong> the product in place sufficiently<\/strong>. Other reviewers did not have this problem. They also praise the look, the<\/strong> quality <\/strong>and the newfound tidiness on the desk<\/strong>. We were also able to confirm these points in our practical test; we did not notice any lack of hold.<\/p>

Prices of up to \u20ac55<\/strong> are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available for as little as \u20ac20<\/strong>. This puts the cable duct from GELSENWERK <\/strong>in the middle price segment with a current price of \u20ac34.99<\/strong>. Consequently, the price ratio <\/strong>is good<\/strong> for the quality and scope of services you receive.<\/p>
