The active ingredient sodium hypochlorite<\/strong> transforms any water into drinking water within<\/strong> 30 minutes<\/strong>. It also preserves the water for up to 6 months<\/strong>.
For your own safety <\/strong>, you should preferably drink water that is<\/strong> already as clean as possible<\/strong> before adding the tablet, e.g. water from running water. Water with healthy-looking animals and plants is ideal. Water that smells unpleasant or contains dead animals is not suitable.
