The MAESTRO SKI<\/strong> ski jacket<\/strong> from Nebulus<\/strong> made a very good<\/strong> overall impression in our test. The jacket for men<\/strong> is available in two different colors<\/strong> and six sizes<\/strong>. For our test, we received the jacket in black and in size M. It has a variety of useful functions<\/strong>: The warm-keeping insulation<\/strong>, the water-repellent exterior and the protected zippers ensure a warm interior<\/strong>. Several pockets<\/strong> on the inside and outside allow you to store numerous items. A detachable hood<\/strong>, snow guard<\/strong> and cuffs with thumb holes also ensure a high degree of flexibility<\/strong>. The material quality and workmanship are equally impressive.<\/p>

The MAESTRO SKI ski jacket<\/strong> from Nebulus was delivered together with other products in a sturdy<\/strong> shipping box. The shipping box was undamaged<\/strong> and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. In addition, the shipping box was optimally dimensioned and filled to the top. This not only minimizes<\/strong> the amount of material required<\/strong> for the shipping box, but also enables better utilization of the transport vehicles, which benefits the environment<\/strong>. Inside the box was the jacket in its product packaging, among other things.
The product packaging<\/strong> consists of a tear-resistant<\/strong> and non-stretchable transparentplastic bag<\/strong> in which the jacket was packed. The Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. There is also a sticker<\/strong> with a barcode, the product name and the size of the jacket. On the back there are warnings<\/strong> that the bag poses a choking hazard. The information is available in four languages, including German and English. The bag has an opening<\/strong> at the top, which is sealed with a reusable adhesive strip<\/strong> attached to the film. If the jacket is to be returned, the bag can be resealed using the existing adhesive strip. Two layers of tissue paper<\/strong> are placed between the individual layers of fabric to prevent the fabrics from rubbing. For sustainability reasons, at least one layer could have been omitted <\/strong>.
The ski jacket is very well<\/strong> protected<\/strong> from damage and soiling by the shipping box and the plastic bag.<\/p><\/div>

As you would expect, the MAESTRO SKI ski jacket does not require any additional accessories<\/strong> and is delivered without them. There is a cardboard disc<\/strong> the size of a beer mat on the label, which is printed on both sides in high gloss with the Nebulus logo, which can also be found on the product packaging.
There are no instructions for use<\/strong>, but they are not required<\/strong>. Washing<\/strong> instructions can be found on a label <\/strong>on the inside of the jacket, where this is illustrated with the familiar symbols. There is also information on the material composition of the MAESTRO SKI ski jacket, the size and the product name.<\/p><\/div>

For our practical test<\/strong>, we received the MAESTRO SKI<\/strong> ski jacket in black<\/strong>. The outside consists of black and white areas and is also decorated<\/strong> with various patches and lettering. A visual highlight<\/strong> is the inside of the collar<\/strong>, which has the design of the Norwegian flag. The inside of<\/strong> the jacket is light gray.<\/p>

However, the jacket’s special feature <\/strong>is not just its design, but also the range of functions<\/strong> it offers. This includes a large number<\/strong> of pockets<\/strong> on the inside and outside. On the outside<\/strong>, there are two pockets in the stomach area, a breast pocket and a small pocket on the left forearm. There are two more pockets on the inside<\/strong>, one of which can be closed with a zipper.<\/p>

The pockets on the outside can also be closed with a zipper<\/strong>. Like the main zipper for opening the jacket, these zippers are protected<\/strong> with a rubber lip to prevent cold wind from penetrating. The fabric on one side of the main zipper<\/strong> is also extended on the inside to insulate the zipper from the inside. There is a black pendant<\/strong> on the zipper openers.<\/p>

The jacket has a dense inner lining<\/strong>, which provides good thermal insulation. To keep you even warmer, the sleeves have an extension made of particularly elastic material: the cuffs <\/strong>with thumb holes insulate the transition from jacket to glove. The jacket also has a Velcro fastener<\/strong> at the end of the sleeves so that they can be tightened as required. On the underside, the jacket has a snow skirt<\/strong> with an elasticated waistband that can be closed if necessary. The underside can also be tightened using an elastic band. There is a very high collar <\/strong>at the top of the jacket and a detachable hood<\/strong> with a zipper.<\/p>

The outer fabric<\/strong> of the jacket is thin, non-stretchy and tear-resistant<\/strong>. According to the manufacturer, it is made of polyamide<\/strong>, while the lining is made of polyester<\/strong>. The seams <\/strong>are all even and clean. There are hardly any protruding threads and, with one exception, they are only very short. Apart from this, there are no<\/strong> other manufacturing faults<\/strong> on the jacket.<\/p>

Overall, the MAESTRO SKI ski jacket<\/strong> is a practical yet attractively designed item of clothing with its wide range<\/strong> of functions<\/strong>. The quality <\/strong>of the fabrics and seams used and the overall finish <\/strong>are also impressive<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Does the manufacturer keep its advertising promises?<\/p><\/div>

\u2139\ufe0f Our practical test is the most relevant and therefore the most important. Here, the product has to undergo a wide range of criteria and tests. We check the functions and product promises of the test article. <\/p>

The MAESTRO SKI <\/strong>ski jacket is sold in various sizes<\/strong> between S and 3XL. For our test, we received the jacket in M<\/strong>. Unfortunately,<\/strong> the jacket is a little too big<\/strong> for our tester, who is 170 cm tall. The fit<\/strong> is also very wide<\/strong>, which means the jacket doesn’t look very sporty. On the other hand, it offers plenty of space<\/strong> inside for additional layers of clothing.
The design of the collar<\/strong> is also striking. It is very high<\/strong>, wide and offers enough space for a scarf underneath. This protects the neck from the cold, wind and snow.
The jacket sits very comfortably<\/strong> even after long periods of wear. Thanks to the thick insulation, the jacket keeps you really warm<\/strong>. The zipper<\/strong> can also be easily operated with gloves<\/strong> thanks to the pendant. The elasticated drawstring<\/strong> at the bottom of the jacket can be tightened for additional protection against the cold. The adjustment mechanism<\/strong> is released with a button on a clip and the elastic can then be tightened or loosened as required. When the elastic is tightened, the penetration <\/strong>of cold air from below is effectively prevented<\/strong>, even during dynamic movement. The overlying snow skirt<\/strong> is fastened with buttons and always fits snugly thanks to its three-way adjustability<\/strong>.
In our test, the large number of pockets<\/strong> proved to be very useful<\/strong>. The pocket on the forearm in particular is ideal for storing a ski pass<\/strong>. This means that you only need to hold your arm in the direction of the sensor, even if you have a readout device at the lift entrance with a short range. The lockable pocket on the inside<\/strong> is also ideal for storing valuables<\/strong> such as smartphones. These are not only protected against the cold, but also cannot fall out in the event of a fall.
The hood <\/strong>is generously<\/strong> sized. The opening on the front can be tightened with an elastic band if required. Although the hood is not lined, it still consists of two layers of fabric. The inside is made of a soft fabric, which is also partly used inside the jacket, and feels pleasant <\/strong>against the skin. The hood can be easily<\/strong> removed<\/strong> from the jacket and reattached using the zipper.
Ideally, a ski jacket should be water-repellent<\/strong>. That’s why we test the jacket by spraying the surface with water. This is where the smooth surface can show its advantages: it proves to be extremely water-repellent. The water rolls<\/strong> off<\/strong> immediately and falls to the ground. The surface of the jacket cannot be wetted with water and does not absorb water. This keeps the inside pleasantly dry<\/strong>.
In the last part of our practical test, we wash<\/strong> the ski jacket according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the MAESTRO SKI jacket, this means an easy-care wash cycle at 30 \u00b0C<\/strong> without drying and ironing, which corresponds to the usual specifications for comparable garments. Washing at 60 \u00b0C, as would be recommended after sporting activities or heavy soiling, for example, is unfortunately not possible. After washing, the jacket smells of the detergent used, but otherwise there is no noticeable difference. The jacket survives<\/strong> the washing procedure<\/strong> without damage or fading.
All in all, the MAESTRO SKI ski jacket was thoroughly convincing<\/strong> in our practical test. It is comfortable, keeps you very warm, offers a very high level of functionality<\/strong>, is also highly water-repellent and withstands washing without any problems. It is therefore not only suitable<\/strong> as a ski<\/strong> and snowboard jacket<\/strong>, but also as a winter jacket<\/strong> in general.<\/p><\/div>

We particularly appreciate the praise for the design and quality. There is criticism<\/strong> in particular for the customer service and for the fact that thejacket is sometimes too small<\/strong>. Although we had no contact with customer service, we cannot confirm that the jacket runs small.<\/p>

Prices of up to \u20ac464<\/strong> are charged on the Internet for equivalent products, with most products costing up to \u20ac180. Very inexpensive products are available from<\/strong> as little as \u20ac28.99<\/strong>. The MAESTRO SKI ski jacket from Nebulus<\/strong> is currently in the upper price segment<\/strong> with a price of \u20ac259.00<\/strong> on Amazon. The price is reasonable<\/strong> for the quality and range of services you get. <\/p>
