The SKIBR\u00d6K <\/strong> ski jacket<\/strong> from Nebulus<\/strong> made a very good<\/strong> overall impression in our test. For our test, we received the jacket for men in Malibu blue and in size M. We received the women’s version in the orange shade Coralle and size S. It has a variety of useful functions<\/strong>: The warm-keeping insulation<\/strong>, the water-repellent exterior and the zippers ensure a warm interior<\/strong>. Several pockets<\/strong> on the inside and outside allow you to store numerous items. A detachable hood<\/strong> and elasticated <\/strong>waistband and hood also ensure a high degree of flexibility<\/strong>. The material quality and workmanship are equally impressive.<\/p>

In our case, the SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket <\/strong>from Nebulus was delivered together <\/strong>with other products in a sturdy shipping box. The shipping box was undamaged <\/strong>and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. The shipping box was also optimally <\/strong>sized, as it was filled to the top. This protects<\/strong> the environment<\/strong>: not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimized, but the small space required by the package also ensures better utilization of the transport vehicles. The product packaging inside the box included the SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket<\/strong>. The product packaging consists of a transparent plastic bag<\/strong> in which the SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket was packed. The film is tear-resistant and not stretchable. A Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. There is also a sticker with a barcode and the product name and size of the jacket. There are warnings<\/strong> on the back that the bag poses a choking hazard. The information is available in four languages, including German and English. The bag has an opening<\/strong> at the top, which is sealed with an adhesive strip <\/strong>on the film. The adhesive strip is reusable. If the jacket is to be returned, the bag can be resealed with the existing adhesive strip. There is another layer of thin paper<\/strong> between the individual layers of the folded jacket to prevent the fabric of the ski jacket from rubbing together during transportation. The SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket<\/strong> is very well<\/strong> protected<\/strong> from damage and soiling by the cardboard box and the plastic bag.<\/p><\/div>

As you would expect, the SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket does not require any additional accessories<\/strong> and is delivered without them. There is a cardboard disc<\/strong> the size of a beer mat on the label, which is printed on both sides in high gloss with the Nebulus logo, which can also be found on the product packaging.
There are no instructions for use<\/strong>, but they are not required<\/strong>. Washing<\/strong> instructions can be found on a label <\/strong>on the inside of the jacket, where this is illustrated with the familiar symbols. There is also information on the material composition of the SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket<\/strong>, the size and the product name.<\/p><\/div>

For our practical test, we received the SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket <\/strong>in malibu blue for men and coral orange for women. The outside of the jacket is designed with black <\/strong>areas and decorated<\/strong> with various patches and lettering. The inside of the jacket is black.<\/p>

The SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket<\/strong> not only impresses with its attractive design, but also with its extensive functions. It has a large number <\/strong>of pockets <\/strong>both on the inside and outside. On the outside, there are two belly pockets<\/strong>, a breast pocket <\/strong>and a small pocket<\/strong> on the left forearm. There is one pocket on the inside of the jacket, which can be closed with a Velcro fastener.<\/p>

All outer pockets can be securely closed with zippers. The zipper pullers <\/strong>are fitted with black pendants, making them easy to operate even when wearing gloves.<\/p>

The jacket is equipped with a thick<\/strong> inner lining <\/strong>. A Velcro fastener at the end of the sleeves allows further adjustment options. The width of the hem can also be adjusted using an elastic band <\/strong>. The same applies to the hood. A high collar <\/strong>and a detachable hood<\/strong> with a zipper complete the design of the jacket.<\/p>

The outer fabric of the SKIBR\u00d6K<\/strong> jacket is thick, non-stretch and tear-resistant and, according to the manufacturer, is made of polyamide<\/strong>, while the lining<\/strong> is made of polyester<\/strong>. The jacket’s seams <\/strong>are even <\/strong>and neatly finished. There are hardly any loose threads to be found. Apart from this, the jacket has no other manufacturing faults<\/strong>.<\/p>

Overall, the SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket<\/strong> is a functional <\/strong>and attractively designed <\/strong>piece of clothing for skiing. The quality of the materials<\/strong> used, the workmanship <\/strong>and the versatile functions are impressive across the board.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

This is what our practical test showed<\/h2>

Does the manufacturer keep its advertising promises?<\/p><\/div>

\u2139\ufe0f Our practical test is the most relevant and therefore the most important. Here, the product has to undergo a wide range of criteria and tests. We check the functions and product promises of the test article. <\/p>

The SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket<\/strong> is sold in various sizes between S and 3XL. The women’s version is available in sizes XS to L. For our test <\/strong>, we received the jacket in size M for <\/strong> men <\/strong>and size S for <\/strong> women<\/strong>. The men’s version in M fits our tester, who is 170 cm tall, very well and even offers room for a few extra centimetres. The women’s version also fits our 165 cm tester very well. The ski jacket fits comfortably <\/strong>on the body and is the right length so that it ends at the right height. On the inside, it offers plenty of space for additional layers of clothing.<\/p>

The design of the collar<\/strong> is also striking. It is high and wide and offers enough space for a scarf underneath. This protects the neck from the cold, wind and snow.<\/p>

The jacket sits very comfortably even after long periods of wear. The insulation keeps you really warm. The zipper can also be easily operated with gloves thanks to the pendant. The elasticated drawstring <\/strong>at the bottom of the jacket can be tightened for additional protection against the cold. The adjustment mechanism <\/strong>is released with a button on a clip, and the elastic can then be tightened or loosened as required. When the elastic is tightened, the penetration of cold air from below is effectively prevented, even during dynamic movement.
Unfortunately<\/strong>, the ski jacket does not<\/strong> have an integrated snow guard. A snow skirt is an important function in a ski jacket, especially for people who ski or snowboard actively.<\/p>

In our test, the large number of pockets <\/strong>proved to be very useful. The pocket on the forearm in particular is ideal for storing a ski pass <\/strong>. This means that you only need to hold your arm in the direction of the sensor, even if you have a readout device at the lift entrance with a short range. However, the inside pockets <\/strong>do not have a zipper, only a Velcro fastener, so there is a risk of something getting lost from the pockets.
The hood is generously sized. The opening on the front can be tightened with an elastic band<\/strong> if required. A positive feature is that even the hood is lined <\/strong>. The inside of the hood is made from a soft fabric, which is also partly used inside the jacket, and feels pleasant against the skin. The hood can be easily removed from the jacket and reattached using the zipper.
A Velcro fastener <\/strong>at the end of the sleeves allows further adjustment options. Unfortunately, the Velcro strap on the SKIBR\u00d6K jacket<\/strong> has an unpleasant feature: The strap is made of rubber and has rubber stud<\/strong>s on the underside that connect to the fleece strap when closed. However, these rubber studs are rough and the edge of the elastic band has sharp edges. If the strap is not fastened exactly straight or is positioned crookedly on the fleece strap, the edge and the rough area are unpleasantly<\/strong> noticeable on the wrist. Unfortunately, this reduces the wearing comfort of the jacket.<\/p>

Ideally, a ski jacket should be water-repellent <\/strong>. That’s why we test the jacket by spraying the surface with water. This is where the smooth surface can show its advantages: it proves to be extremely water-repellent. The water<\/strong> rolls <\/strong> off<\/strong> immediately and falls to the ground. The surface of the jacket cannot be wetted with water and does not absorb water. This keeps the inside pleasantly dry.<\/p>

In the last part of our practical test, we wash <\/strong>the ski jacket according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the “SKIBR\u00d6K” jacket, this means an easy-care wash cycle <\/strong>at 30 \u00b0C<\/strong> without drying and ironing, which corresponds to the usual specifications for comparable garments. Washing at 60 \u00b0C, as would be recommended after sporting activities or heavy soiling, for example, is unfortunately not possible. After washing, the jacket smells of the detergent used, but otherwise there is no noticeable difference. The jacket survives the washing process without damage or fading.<\/p>

All in all, the SKIBR\u00d6K ski jacket<\/strong> impressed<\/strong> us in our practical test. It is comfortable, keeps you very warm<\/strong>, offers a very high level of functionality<\/strong>, is also highly water-repellent <\/strong>and can withstand washing without any problems. It is therefore not only suitable as a ski and snowboard jacket, but also as a winter jacket in general.<\/p><\/div>

There is praise<\/strong> in particular for the quality, design and fit. We particularly appreciate the praise for the design and quality.<\/p>

Prices of up to \u20ac464<\/strong> are charged on the Internet for equivalent products, with most products costing up to \u20ac180. Very inexpensive products are available from<\/strong> as little as \u20ac28.99<\/strong>. The SKIBR\u00d6K<\/strong> ski jacket from Nebulus<\/strong> is currently in the upper price segment<\/strong> with a price of \u20ac229.00<\/strong> on Amazon. The price is reasonable<\/strong> for the quality and range of services you get<\/p>
