The GENIUS winter jacket<\/strong> from Nebulus<\/strong> made a very good <\/strong>overall impression in our test. The jacket is available for men in ten different colours and sizes. It has a full-length zip<\/strong>, a high collar <\/strong>and pockets <\/strong>on the front. For our test, we received the jacket in black-green for men and size M <\/strong>. The fit<\/strong> proved to be very good in our case. Both the material quality<\/strong> and the workmanship are impressive, as is the performance of the jacket in the practical test. It turns out that the jacket fits comfortably <\/strong>for a long time, the smooth outer surface is extremely water-repellent <\/strong>and the lining keeps you nice and warm <\/strong>.<\/p>

The GENIUS winter jacket from Nebulus was delivered together <\/strong>with other products in a sturdy <\/strong>shipping box. The shipping box was undamaged <\/strong>and easy to open with a knife or scissors. The box was also optimally <\/strong>sized and filled to the brim. This helps to protect the environment <\/strong>, as the amount of material required for the shipping box is minimised and the transport vehicles are better utilised. Inside the box was the GENIUS winter jacket<\/strong> in its product packaging. The product packaging consists of a tear-resistant and non-stretchable transparent plastic bag<\/strong>. The Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. A sticker on the packaging contains a barcode as well as the product name and the size of the jacket. On the back of the packaging there are multilingual warnings <\/strong>about the risk of suffocation from the bag, including German and English. The bag has a resealable opening <\/strong>on the top, which is provided with an adhesive strip <\/strong>. If the bag is returned, it can be resealed using the existing adhesive strip. There is a thin layer of paper<\/strong> between the individual layers of the folded jacket to prevent the material from rubbing during transport. The GENIUS winter jacket is optimally <\/strong> protected<\/strong> from damage and soiling by the cardboard box and the plastic bag.<\/p><\/div>

As you would expect, the GENIUS winter jacket<\/strong> does not require <\/strong>any additional accessories and is delivered without them. There is a cardboard disc<\/strong> the size of a beer mat on the label, with the high-gloss Nebulus logo printed on both sides, which can also be found on the product packaging. There are no instructions for use <\/strong>, but they are not required. Washing <\/strong>instructions can be found on a label <\/strong>on the inside of the jacket, where this is illustrated with the familiar symbols. The label also contains information on the material composition<\/strong> of the GENIUS winter jacket, the size and the product name.<\/p><\/div>

The GENIUS winter jacket<\/strong> is a quilted jacket <\/strong>with row-shaped segments. These segments are filled with soft <\/strong>material. The outer and inner surfaces are made of a very fine, smooth fabric<\/strong> that feels somewhat synthetic. According to the manufacturer, both the fabric<\/strong> and the filling<\/strong> are made of<\/strong> polyester<\/strong>. For our test <\/strong>, we received the winter jacket in black and green for men. The winter jacket is divided into two colour sections: The collar, the underside of the arms and an approximately 7 centimetre wide strip of the upper body are completely in green <\/strong>. The inside of the jacket is also largely in green. The upper part of the body and the upper part of the sleeves, on the other hand, are black. These colour combinations <\/strong>vary depending on the colour selection. There are nine more colour combinations for men to choose from.
There is a Nebulus patch<\/strong> on the chest for decoration. The front is closed with a green zip <\/strong>. The zip is fitted with easy-to-grip tags <\/strong>. To ensure that no cold gets into the inside of the jacket through the zip, the jacket protrudes slightly on one side of the zip, providing additional insulation <\/strong>.
There are two pockets <\/strong>on the front of the jacket in the stomach area that cannot be closed with a zip. The collar of the jacket has a hanger<\/strong> that makes it easy to hang on a hook.
The outer fabric of the jacket is relatively thin, non-stretchy and tear-resistant<\/strong>. The lining, on the other hand, is clearly noticeable and correspondingly thick. The seams <\/strong>are even <\/strong>and clean. There are hardly any protruding threads and if there are any, they are very short. Apart from this, no <\/strong>other manufacturing faults <\/strong>are recognisable on the jacket.
Overall, the GENIUS winter jacket<\/strong> with its two colours and the Nebulus patch is a discreet <\/strong>and fashionable <\/strong>garment. The quality of the fabrics used, the seams and the overall finish are impressive<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

\u2139\ufe0f Our practical test is the most relevant and therefore the most important. Here, the product has to undergo a wide range of criteria and tests. We check the functions and product promises of the test article. <\/p>

The GENIUS <\/strong> winter jacket<\/strong> is available in various sizes for men from S to 3XL. For our test <\/strong>, we received the jacket in size M for <\/strong>men. For our tester, who is 170 cm tall, the jacket in size M fits very well and even offers room for a few extra centimetres. The winter jacket fits comfortably <\/strong>on the body and is the right length so that it ends at the right height.
Even after being worn for a long time, the jacket is still very comfortable<\/strong>. Thanks to its construction with two layers of fabric and the lining in between, it keeps <\/strong>you very warm<\/strong>, even though<\/strong> it is relatively light<\/strong>. When the zip <\/strong>is closed all the way to the top, the collar <\/strong>fits snugly around the neck and reaches up to the head. The collar<\/strong> thus fulfils its function and effectively protects<\/strong> the neck from the cold<\/strong>. The pendant <\/strong>on the zip also makes it easy to operate with gloves.
During our test, the belly pockets <\/strong>proved to be extremely useful. Unfortunately, there are no zips on the pockets. From our point of view, however, these would have been practical, for example to store valuables safely.
An ideal winter jacket should be water-repellent <\/strong>. We therefore tested the jacket by spraying the surface with water. This shows the advantage of the smooth surface: it proves to be extremely water-repellent. The water<\/strong> rolls <\/strong> off <\/strong>immediately and falls to the ground. The surface of the jacket does not absorb water and remains dry, so that the inside remains comfortably protected.
In the final part of our practical test, we washed<\/strong> the winter jacket according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the GENIUS jacket<\/strong>, this means an easy-care <\/strong>wash cycle at 30 \u00b0C<\/strong> without drying and ironing, which corresponds to the usual recommendations for comparable garments. Unfortunately, washing at 60 \u00b0C, as would be recommended after sporting activities or heavy soiling, for example, is not possible. After washing, the jacket smells of the detergent used, but otherwise there are no recognisable differences. The jacket survives the washing process without damage or fading.
Overall, the GENIUS winter jacket<\/strong> impressed<\/strong> us in our practical test. It is extremely comfortable <\/strong>and keeps you nice and warm<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div>
