The dryer balls<\/strong> from Feluna\u00ae<\/strong> made a very good impression<\/strong> in our test. They are an environmentally friendly alternative<\/strong> to conventional fabric softeners for the tumble dryer. They are made by hand<\/strong> from natural virgin sheep’s wool<\/strong> and soften<\/strong> the laundry<\/strong> in a natural way. Using dryer balls saves time, energy and money<\/strong>, thus protecting<\/strong> the environment<\/strong> and your wallet<\/strong>. The dryer balls are also particularly durable<\/strong> and can be used up to 1000 times <\/strong>. They are also hypoallergenic<\/strong> and suitable for sensitive skin <\/strong>. A further advantage is that static charge is reduced <\/strong>and creasing is prevented<\/strong>. When unpacking, aslight chemical smell<\/strong> was noticed, which came from the print of the sheep’s faces<\/strong>, but this dissipated after a short time<\/strong>. There may also be a slight build-up of fluff<\/strong>, as this is a natural material. However, this does not affect its functionality<\/strong>. The application<\/strong> is simple<\/strong>, quick<\/strong> and suitable<\/strong> for various items<\/strong> such as cushions, jackets, blankets etc.<\/p>

The dryer balls are delivered in a classic shipping box<\/strong> in which they are well protected <\/strong>. The packaging contains an attractive cloth bag<\/strong> with six balls<\/strong>, printed with a sheep’s face<\/strong> and packed in an additional plastic bag<\/strong>. For reasons of sustainability, the plastic packaging could be dispensed with. The fabric bag<\/strong> not only has the function<\/strong> of storing<\/strong> the dryer balls, it also has instructions for use<\/strong> printed on the fabric bag in German<\/strong>, which are very attractively designed<\/strong>. The use<\/strong> of the dryer balls is explained simply<\/strong> and straightforwardly<\/strong>. The dryer balls<\/strong> from Feluna\u00ae<\/strong> impress at first glance with the attractive, modern and easy-to-read design<\/strong> of the fabric bag<\/strong>. The design of the dryer balls<\/strong> with a printed sheep’s face<\/strong> also matches this. The workmanship<\/strong> of the balls is of high<\/strong> quality and all the balls are roughly the same size<\/strong>. However, we noticed a slight inherent smell<\/strong> of paint where the sheep ‘s face<\/strong> is printed. We noticed a slight build-up of fluff<\/strong> before the first use, but this was not annoying<\/strong>. The dryer balls are well felted<\/strong> and prove to be stable<\/strong>, so that they can hardly be squeezed with bare hands. The sustainability of the product<\/strong> is particularly positive<\/strong>, as it is made from 100% sheep’s wool<\/strong> and the balls can be reused up to 1000 times<\/strong>. The fabric bag<\/strong> is also reusable<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

The use<\/strong> of Feluna\u00ae<\/strong> dryer balls<\/strong> is clearly indicated and easy to implement<\/strong>. Four balls<\/strong> are required for a medium load of laundry<\/strong> and six balls <\/strong>for a full drum load <\/strong>. We noticed a slight build-up of fluff<\/strong> during the first wash cycle<\/strong>, which decreased with each subsequent drying cycle. The balls are surprisingly quiet<\/strong> during the drying process and do not significantly affect the noise level. The heat resistance<\/strong> and dimensional stability<\/strong> were also striking. However, it was found that after the first three drying cycles, the printed sheep’s face<\/strong> faded<\/strong> slightly and the balls<\/strong> became a little firmer<\/strong>, but this did not affect<\/strong> their effectiveness<\/strong>. The smell<\/strong> of the washed textiles remained neutral<\/strong>, but we successfully tested the possibility of applying a few drops of essential oil<\/strong> to the balls to obtain a pleasant scent <\/strong>. Drying time was reduced <\/strong>by almost half, especially for pillows and blankets<\/strong>, and became looser<\/strong>, towels<\/strong> became noticeably softer<\/strong> and garments<\/strong> showed fewer creases<\/strong>. Using<\/strong> the dryer balls proved to be very user-friendly<\/strong> and storing<\/strong> them in the cloth bag was practical<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div>

Prices of up to \u20ac42.95<\/strong> are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as \u20ac 5.19<\/strong>. The dryer balls<\/strong> from Feluna\u00ae<\/strong> are therefore currently in the lower price segment<\/strong> with a price of \u20ac13.99<\/strong>. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is good<\/strong>.<\/p>
