The reflective warning signs <\/strong>from ATHELON <\/strong>comply with all road traffic <\/strong>regulations in Italy, Spain and Portugal<\/strong>. With their 3-in-1 reversible function<\/strong>, they are<\/strong> versatile and can easily be used for any of these countries. The set includes a waterproof bag <\/strong>for safe storage in the trunk <\/strong>and four lashing straps<\/strong> for secure attachment to the bike rack, motorhome or caravan. Made from robust aluminum<\/strong> and with a protective rubber edge <\/strong>, the warning signs are durable <\/strong>and weatherproof. One point of criticism is the unecological <\/strong>and unnecessary packaging.<\/p>

The ATHELON warning sign <\/strong>was delivered in two boxes<\/strong> for our test. On the outside, the product was in a very large Amazon box<\/strong>, and on the inside in a small box <\/strong>with the company logo and product name, with a nice thank-you note <\/strong>from the manufacturer on the back. The Amazon box was disproportionately large<\/strong> in relation to the size of the product. In addition, paper <\/strong>was inserted to better protect the small box. Both boxes were undamaged <\/strong>and could be opened easily without additional tools<\/strong>. However, when unpacking the set, we noticed the excessive amount of packaging material <\/strong>. Although the product itself was undamaged <\/strong>and in perfect condition <\/strong>, the amount of plastic packaging <\/strong>was clearly excessive. The warning sign was packed in a plastic bag and the tension straps in bubble wrap. Instructions for use were not included.<\/p><\/div>

The ATHELON warning sign <\/strong>impresses with its excellent visual appearance<\/strong> and high-quality materials. The workmanship is also very well thought out. The reflective sign is made of scratch-resistant <\/strong>and lightweight aluminum<\/strong>, which ensures high stability <\/strong>. Unfortunately, the Pr\u00fcfengel Institute has no information on the sustainability of the product. Nevertheless, it can be stated that the set is made of high-quality material and therefore has a long service life <\/strong>. One point of criticism <\/strong>is the non-sustainable packaging<\/strong> of the warning sign. There is definitely room for improvement here.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

For the practical test <\/strong>of the ATHELON <\/strong> warning sign <\/strong>, we examined various criteria to assess its functionality and quality. With a size <\/strong>of 50 \u00d7 50 cm <\/strong>, the warning sign is properly dimensioned and fulfills all the required functions. The 3-in-1 reversible function<\/strong> makes it possible to use the warning sign in Italy, Spain and Portugal. The waterproof bag <\/strong>supplied has proven to be very practical, allowing the warning sign for bicycle carriers to be stored safely in the trunk <\/strong>when not in use <\/strong> without <\/strong>being damaged <\/strong>. This ensures optimum storage<\/strong> and protects the warning sign from external influences<\/strong>. The warning sign also impresses in terms of stability and attachment. It has robust fastening eyelets<\/strong> and a protective rubber edge<\/strong> that ensure secure fastening<\/strong>. Even when driving on different road surfaces <\/strong>and at<\/strong> different speeds<\/strong>, the warning sign remained firmly <\/strong>attached. Fitting <\/strong>the warning sign <\/strong>was extremely quick<\/strong> and easy <\/strong>, even though no operating instructions <\/strong>were supplied. Another important aspect is compliance with legal requirements<\/strong>. The warning sign complies with Italian<\/strong> road traffic regulations<\/strong> on one side and Spanish <\/strong>and Portuguese road traffic regulations<\/strong> on the other. It can therefore be used without hesitation<\/strong> in these countries. <\/p><\/div>
