The mite cover from Welldora made a very good impression in our test. The materials used are high-quality, dimensionally stable and have no seam defects . The product is also washable at 95 degrees, certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and scored “very good” in the Dermatest . The cover retains its shape and color even after washing. Covering is quick and easy: although the material is not elastic, it can be opened on two sides using the extra-long zipper. The mattress should not be thicker than 12 to 20 cm. The hypoallergenic, breathable microfiber fabric reduces the penetration of dander and dust and counteracts dust mites. There is no noise, no shifting and no unpleasant creases during the night.

Packaging
The mite cover from Welldora came in a typical shipping box for our test. This was undamaged on arrival and could be easily opened by removing the adhesive strip. Inside the product box, the mite cover was packed in a plastic bag. This type of packaging ensured that the product was optimally protected from external influences and shipped hygienically. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the mite cover was delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. However, the plastic bag cannot be recycled . Nevertheless, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

The mite cover is hygienically packaged in a plastic film. It also contains a QR code for the 30-page e-book “Health Elixir Sleep”. The product is made of 100% polyester. Instructions for use are not required. However, the manufacturer includes an information leaflet with answers to product-related questions, intended use and care instructions. The sewn-in label, the letter and the plastic film contain washing instructions, product information and contact details. However, there is no customer hotline. Nevertheless, this is a very good way to send a product.

We washed the product before first use. We can therefore confirm that the mite cover retains its original shape and color after washing at 90 degrees. The cover is easy to put on alone or with a helping hand, although it should be noted that only mattresses with a thickness of 12 to 20 cm are suitable and the material is deliberately not elastic . Thanks to the extra-long zipper on two sides, our mattress could be covered quickly and effortlessly. The hypoallergenic, breathable microfiber fabric reduces the penetration of dander and dust and counteracts dust mites. In the test, we used the product as an intermediate cover and stretched a sheet over it. We didn’t notice any noise, slippage or unpleasant creases during the night. We also did not sweat more than normal. One test person with a house dust mite allergy reported fewer symptoms and more restful sleep during the test period.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.5 stars. Negative reviews were not substantiated. Otherwise, the reviewers praise the quality of the mite cover, the quick and easy cleaning and drying, the lying comfort and the hypoallergenic effect. We can fully endorse these opinions. In our practical test, we also appreciated the pleasant sleeping experience and, above all, the positive effects on our allergic test person.
Prices of up to €85 are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available from as little as €29. The mite cover from Welldora (160 x 200 cm) is therefore in the middle price segment with a current price of €44.99. Consequently, the price ratio is very good for the quality and scope of services you get.
