The Milu thermos jug made a very good impression in our test. The product has an attractive, flawless design and is made of stainless steel and BPA-free plastic. The thermos jugs are available in different sizes. You can choose between a capacity of 500 ml, 750 ml or 1000 ml. In our test, the jugs were absolutely leak-proof, even when tipped over and shaken, no liquid leaked out. Opening and closing the lid is very easy thanks to the so-called “One Click” closure. Cleaning is done by hand and is easy thanks to the cleaning brush supplied and the enclosed care instructions.

The Milu thermos flask was delivered together with other products in a single shipping box. The shipping carton was compact and the individual products had little room to move around. Therefore, the remaining space in the shipping carton was filled with recycled paper filling material. The product packaging was undamaged and in perfect condition. Both the shipping carton and the product packaging were easy to open. The product packaging is black and white.
The jug is wrapped in transparent bubble wrap. The film provides additional protection against dirt and damage during transport. The cleaning brush is also wrapped in a separate film. As the product packaging is sufficiently robust, we believe that the film could have been dispensed with. Overall, the set is well protected in the packaging and, apart from the film, no unnecessary packaging material has been used.
The packaging of the thermos flask is partially recyclable. Unfortunately, the plastic film cannot be recycled, but the product carton can.
Overall, the thermos flask makes a very good impression.

The Milu thermos jugs make a very good visual impression and have no manufacturing defects.
The jug is available in different sizes. You can choose between a filling quantity of 500 ml, 750 ml or 1000 ml . The sizes of the jugs differ accordingly. The small thermos jug with a capacity of 500 ml is 25 cm high. The medium size with a capacity of 750 ml has a total height of 29 cm. The largest thermos flask is 35 cm high and has a capacity of 1000 ml.
There is a wide range of 8 different colours, so there is something for every taste. The lettering “Milu” is engraved in silver colour in the lower third.
The thermo mug is made of high-quality stainless steel, which is free from harmful substances and is odourless and tasteless. Another advantage is the low weight of the jug and the sturdy, high-quality workmanship.
The cleaning brush supplied is made of plastic and a plastic brush. The height of the brush is ideal for cleaning the base of the mug. This avoids the problem of hands being too wide to clean the entire cup.

For the test, we filled the thermo mugs with boiling water in the morning. Even after our test phase of approx. 10 hours, the liquid was still very warm and hardly lost any temperature. Even chilled drinks remained cold for a long time. The outside was neither hot nor cold and was comfortable to hold. In our test, the cups were absolutely leak-proof, even when tipped over and shaken, no liquid leaked out. We can also confirm the stated filling quantities of 500ml, 750ml and 1000ml after our test.
Pouring is easy thanks to the “One Click” closure and, above all, the risk of spilling is minimised. It is so well thought out that it can be opened and closed easily with just one hand at the touch of a button. The removable outer lid makes it easy to drink and is therefore ideal for travelling.
The lid is dishwasher-safe. The thermos flask itself is not dishwasher-safe and should be cleaned by hand. Due to the material used, cleaning in the dishwasher is not possible, as is the case with other thermos flasks. The thermos flask should be stored with the lid open when not in use.
