The Milu thermos flask made a very good impression in our test. The product has an attractive, flawless design and is made of stainless steel and BPA-free plastic. The bottles are available in different sizes. You can choose between a capacity of 500 ml, 750 ml or 1000 ml. In our test, the bottles were absolutely leak-proof, even when tipped over and shaken, no liquid leaked out. The lid can be easily replaced depending on the intended use. There is a stainless steel lid that can be unscrewed from the bottle for drinking as usual. Another option is a straw lid. This looks similar to a schnapps cup. The bottle packaging is partially recyclable. Unfortunately, the plastic film is not recyclable, but the product carton is.

ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the product processing. How high quality are the materials used? Is the look and feel satisfactory?

The bottles are available in different sizes. You can choose between 500 ml, 750 ml and 1000 ml capacities. The sizes of the jugs also differ accordingly. The small thermos flask with a capacity of 500 ml has a height of 23.5 cm. The medium size with a capacity of 750 ml has a total height of 27 cm. The largest thermos flask is 24.5 cm high and has a capacity of 1000 ml. There is a wide range of 11 different colours, so there is something for every taste. The lettering “Milu” is embossed in silver in the lower third.
The lid can be easily replaced depending on how the bottle is used. There is a stainless steel lid, which is unscrewed from the bottle as usual for drinking. Due to the large opening of the bottle, it can spill over more quickly. To avoid this, another option is a straw lid. This looks similar to a schnapps cup. The integrated straw with mouthpiece ensures easy and leak-proof drinking. The sports lid is simply flipped open when in use.
The thermo mug is made of high-quality stainless steel, which is free from harmful substances and is odourless and tasteless. Another advantage is the low weight of the jug and the sturdy, high-quality workmanship.
The cleaning brush supplied is made of plastic and plastic bristles. The height of the brush is ideal for cleaning the base of the mug. This avoids the problem of hands being too wide to clean the entire cup. The other cleaning brush is suitable for the straw.

The stainless steel lid is simply unscrewed from the neck of the bottle for drinking. However, a loop on the lid means that it is still attached to the bottle and does not simply fall off. With the straw lid, the straw integrated in the mouthpiece guarantees easy and leak-proof drinking. This cup can therefore also be used for children without any problems. However, in this case the straw supplied must be inserted into the underside of the lid. As the name suggests, the sports lid is practical for sports and activities.
The thermos flask is not dishwasher-safe and should be cleaned by hand. Due to the material used, cleaning in the dishwasher is not possible, as is the case with other thermos flasks. The bottle should be stored with the lid open when not in use.
