The Milu thermo mug made a very good impression in our test. The product has an attractive, flawless design and is made of stainless steel, which can be customised with engravings , and BPA-free plastic. Customers can choose between two lids depending on their requirements. Thanks to the insulation , both cold and hot drinks can be drunk at the desired temperature over a longer period of time. The outside always feels pleasantly warm in the hand. The thermo mug has a capacity of 210 ml and is leak-proof . However, the “One Click” closure protrudes further into the cup and therefore only allows for around 190 ml. Both closures are dishwasher-safe. However, the stainless steel cup must be cleaned by hand.

The Milu thermo mug came in a typical shipping box for our test. This was undamaged on arrival and could be easily opened by removing the adhesive strip. Inside the product box, the product was wrapped in plastic film. This type of packaging ensured that the thermo mug was optimally protected from external influences and hygienically dispatched. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the product was delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. However, the plastic film cannot be recycled . Nevertheless, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

ℹ️ Most people’s first impression after unpacking is immediately memorable. Are the contents of the pack complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

The thermo mug comes with two different lids – one with a flip-top closure, the other with a “one click” closure. Information on the use, safety and care of the product can be found on the product packaging and in the instructions for use in two languages.
Contact information can be found directly on the product and on the product box. An email address and Instagram page are provided, but there is no customer hotline. Nevertheless, this is a very good way to send a product.

ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the product processing. How high quality are the materials used? Is the look and feel satisfactory?

First of all, the thermo mug makes a very good visual impression. We did not notice any manufacturing defects . Furthermore, all the transitions are clean and there are no scratches or edges to be seen. The insulated part is made of stainless steel and can be personalised with an engraving. The lids are made of BPA-free plastic and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. The product impresses with its simple, timeless design.
There is no information about the sustainability of the product. However, due to the high-quality materials used, we assume a long service life .

We really enjoyed drinking from the Milu thermo mug during the test. This was mainly due to the fact that the thermo mug kept both cold and hot liquids at the desired temperature over a longer period of time. The outside did not get hot or cold and was comfortable to hold thanks to the rubber coating. Customers can choose between two lids depending on their requirements. Both guarantee leakproofness. We can only confirm the stated capacity of 210 ml for the flip-top lid. The “One Click” closure protrudes further into the cup and can therefore only hold around 190 ml. Both closures are dishwasher-safe. However, the stainless steel cup must be cleaned by hand. This is child’s play thanks to the large opening and the enclosed care instructions.
Customers can currently choose from the colours blue, brown, grey, green, mango, olive green, pink, red, black, turquoise and purple and the model with or without engraving .

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.4 stars. One criticism is that the heat output is not sufficient and warm drinks lose temperature after a short time. Other reviewers, however, are satisfied with the insulation. They also praise the design, leakproofness, ease of cleaning and quality. We fully agree with this, although the capacity of the “One Click” cap should be adjusted in the product description.
