The water bowl and food bowl, on the other hand, are not colored, but are made of silver-colored stainless steel. A drop of water is depicted on one bowl. A dog bone is applied to the other bowl. The bowls can be removed from the drinking bottle by simply turning them so that they are firmly attached to the bottle and do not lie around individually in the rucksack. The removable cup-shaped bowls allow practical portioning and are therefore ideal for on the go. They are also easy to fill. The flat base of the bowls allows them to stand securely. The Milu dog drinking bottle was delivered in a compact shipping box. The product had very little space to slide around. Therefore, the remaining space in the shipping box was filled with filling material made from recycled paper. The product packaging was undamagedand in perfect condition. Both the shipping carton and the product packaging were easy to open. The product packaging is black and white.
The container is wrapped in transparent bubble wrap. The film provides additional protection against soiling and damage during transportation. As the product packaging is sufficiently sturdy, we believe that the film could have been dispensed with. Overall, the set is well protected in the packaging and, apart from the film, no unnecessary packaging material has been used.
The packaging of the container is partially recyclable. Unfortunately, the plastic film is not recyclable, but the product carton is.
Overall, the dog drinking bottle makes a very good impression.

The drinking bottle has a capacity of 950 ml. Accordingly, the drinking bottle has a height of 22 cm. The total height including the two integrated bowls is 26.50 cm. The word “Milu” is embossed in silver in the lower third. The lid and the body of the bottle are black. This coating not only looks good, but also keeps your hands at a comfortable temperature, regardless of whether the outside of the cup is warm or cold. The water bowl and food bowl, on the other hand, are not colored, but are made of silver-colored stainless steel. A drop of water is depicted on one bowl. A dog bone is applied to the other bowl. The thermo mug is made of high-quality stainless steel, which is free from harmful substances and is odorless and tasteless. For the test, we filled the bottle with cold water in the morning. Even after our test phase of a few hours, the liquid was still pleasantly cooland hardly warmed up at all. Even warm liquids stayed warm for a long time. The outside did not get hot or cold and was comfortable to hold. The container proved to be absolutely leak-proof in our test, and no liquid escaped even when tilted or shaken. We can also confirm the stated filling quantity of 950 ml after our test.
The bottle is easy to open thanks to the screw cap. The cups can also be removed from the bottle by twisting, so that they are firmly attached to the bottle and do not lie around individually in the rucksack. The removable bowls, which are shaped like a bowl, enable practical portioning and are therefore ideal for on the go. They are also easy to fill. The flat base of the bowls ensures that they stand securely. However, a rubber coating on the base of the bowl would increase its stability. The food bowl is approx. 3 cm high. The water bowl is slightly higher at 4 cm. The diameter of both bowls is the same at 10 cm. Larger dogs will therefore find it difficult to get their usual and possibly necessary portion. For them, it is more of a snack that fits into the available filling volume. A similar problem arises with the drinking water bowl. Although there is enough water in the drinking bottle, the bowl only holds around 200 ml without the risk of overflowing, especially on uneven ground, which is not uncommon in nature. The diameter is narrow, however, so that larger dogs could have problems with their tongues. The lid of the drinking bottle can be used as a drinking cup for the dog’s owner. This has the advantage that there is no need for an additional drinking bottle, thus saving weight.
The drinking bottle with the bowls is not dishwasher-safe and should be cleaned by hand. Cleaning in the dishwasher, as with other thermal containers, is not possible due to the material used. The containers should be stored with the lid open when not in use.
