Our practical test of the KinderPlatz® 3D pen set has shown that the user-friendliness of the pen is fantastic. Inserting the PLA material is extremely simple and straightforward, so that you can start using it after just a short time. The holder supplied proves to be extremely practical, as the pen can be placed down easily and stored safely.
A particularly positive feature is that the filament is dispensed evenly , resulting in consistent and controlled drawing. In addition, the use of a glass base makes it easy to remove the resulting artwork. Despite the heat generated by the material, no burns were found to occur on direct contact, ensuring safety when using the pen.
The ergonomics of the pen are also very good and allow it to be used comfortably for long periods of time. In terms of accuracy, making small drawings requires some practice, but after a certain amount of familiarization, three-dimensional objects and fine details can also be drawn. The pressure sensitivity of the pen is not very high, so that precise lines can be drawn .
