The solar film from Poolpanda offers adequate product protection, as the packaging is stable and the product is adequately protected. The solar film is made of a black-blue PE material with a film thickness of 400 my and a diameter of 366 cm. The tarpaulin can easily be cut to the desired size. It is also provided with 12 mm bubbles for better thermal insulation . The tarpaulin can be ordered in a total of 9 different round versions and 8 square versions. The high-quality materials andexcellent workmanship make the tarpaulin durable.

Our practical test of the Poolpanda solar foil confirmed the manufacturer’s advertising promises in a predominantly positive way.
The heat storage and heat generation functions proved to be effective, as the film converts sunlight into heat and also acts as insulation. At night in particular, the film prevents the loss of valuable heat energy, which is often a problem with conventional pool covers. The solar foil therefore offers an inexpensive and extremely effective way of counteracting this and extending the swimming season.
In addition to the heating function, the Poolpanda solar foil also offers a protective function against soiling and algae formation. This applies in particular to dark films, which inhibit algae growth and also protect the pool water from leaves and other soiling. However, in strong gusts of wind or storms, the liner can be blown off the pool if it is not cut to fit the pool exactly.
The liner is made of polyethylene and has air chambers on the underside that minimize heat loss and have a certain heating effect . The thicker the material, the greater the strength of the liner, which ensures its durability and stability .
Despite its thickness, the film is relatively easy to work with. While the higher weight and rigidity can be a challenge for some users, particularly at the beginning, especially when applying the film to the pool alone, the film is still easy to handle and can also be cut to size without any problems.
Overall, the Poolpanda solar liner has proven to be an extremely sensible investment for pool owners who want to make efficient use of the valuable heat generated by solar radiation or costly pool heaters.
