In our product test, we put the microfibre bed linen from Wolkenfeld through its paces. The bed linen impresses with its subtle design and is made from the finest super microfibre, which is Oeko-Tex certified. The duvet cover in size 135 x 200 cm is securely fastened with a hard-wearing YKK zip, while the matching pillowcase in size 80 x 80 cm also has a practical zip. The bed linen is available in different sizes and colours so that it can be easily adapted to different bed sizes and colour preferences. An outstanding feature is the excellent climate regulation: the double-brushed microfibre ensures pleasant coolness in summer and cosy warmth in winter. The bed linen also impresses with its uncomplicated care – it can be washed at up to 60 °C, dries quickly and remains largely crease-free, meaning that ironing is usually unnecessary. The shape and colour remain stable even after repeated washing.

The packaging of the Wolkenfeld bed linen is well thought out and offers optimum protection for the contents. A big plus is the environmentally friendly packaging, which is made entirely from recyclable materials such as cardboard and paper. The compact and minimalist design reduces unnecessary waste and superfluous packaging material. Inside, the bed linen is carefully folded and safely stowed away so that it remains in perfect condition during transport. A nice extra is the enclosed “Do not disturb” card, which contains links to the homepage on the inside with useful information on washing instructions, exchange and return options and customer service. The small booklet with “bed stories” is particularly charming, providing useful general knowledge about the bed and introducing the two founders of Wolkenfeld in person.

The bed linen is very soft to the touch thanks to the fine super microfibre and has a high-quality finish. There are no loose threads or visible manufacturing faults. The integrated zip also makes a stable impression and should ensure easy handling . The bed linen is also promising in terms of sustainability. Wolkenfeld relies on environmentally friendly production in certified companies and emphasises fair working conditions. Particularly worth mentioning is the company’s commitment to planting a tree for every product sold, which has an additional positive impact on the first impression.

The microfibre bed linen from Wolkenfeld has proven to be a perfect fit in practical tests and fits perfectly on standard bed sizes such as 135 x 200 cm and the pillowcase in 80 x 80 cm. The sturdy integrated zip makes it easier to cover and ensures that the bed linen stays securely in place . The fine super microfibre material feels pleasantly soft and contributes to a comfortable sleeping environment . In the test, the bed linen remained crease-free and did not slip. The workmanship of the bed linen proved to be of high quality: no defects such as loose threads or irregular seams were found. The material made a robust impression, which indicates good manufacturing quality. The bed linen is washable up to 60 °C and proved to be very easy to care for in the care test. After washing, it retained its shape and colour without any signs of discolouration or deformation. The material dried quickly and remained virtually crease-free. In terms of breathability, the bed linen scores highly thanks to its 2x brushed surface and the super yarn. These properties ensure pleasant temperature regulation in both summer and winter.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.4 stars. In a few cases, the zip was criticised for being susceptible to damage. However, the high material quality and the careful workmanship of the bed linen were emphasised positively.
