The first impression of the Feluna filler wadding is consistently positive. The product is delivered in a classic shipping box. The filling wadding itself is vacuum-packed in plastic packaging to minimise the transport volume. The compact and secure packaging ensures that the filling wadding is not damaged during transport. However, it is noticeable that the use of the outer plastic film for the packaging would not necessarily have been necessary, which raises questions about sustainability. At a time when environmentally friendly alternatives are becoming increasingly important, a more sustainable solution would have been desirable.
The contents of the packaging were complete and in perfect condition, which reinforces the positive overall impression. There were no instructions for use, but this should not be seen as a disadvantage in this case, as the product is self-explanatory and intuitive to use.

At first glance, the Feluna filler wadding impresses with its solid workmanship and design. The look is appealing and simple. The high-quality workmanship is also evident in the fact that the product does not smell of plastic or chemicals. The quality of the materials used is very good and is expected to last a long time. It is certified in accordance with the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and is guaranteed to be free from harmful substances. According to the manufacturer, it is also machine washable at up to 60 degrees. All in all, Feluna’s filling wadding is a well thought-out and high-quality product that scores highly in terms of functionality .

In our practical test, the Feluna filling wadding was able to fully fulfil the manufacturer’s specifications. The filling wadding showed remarkable fire resistance: it did not ignite even when exposed to direct heat and did not develop any visible smoke. This speaks in favour of high material quality and safety.
The drying time was also impressive in the test, as the wadding was completely dry within an hour and retained its soft texture without any restrictions. This is a decisive advantage for projects that require quick drying.
The material also proved to be resistant in the washability test. Slight clumping after a wash cycle at 60 °C was easily dissolved and did not affect the dimensional stability.
A simple allergy test also confirmed that the wadding did not cause any skin irritation or allergic reactions. No reddening, itching or swelling could be detected.
The filling wadding also scored highly in terms of odour : It is absolutely odourless, free from chemical or artificial odours, which indicates that it is processed without harmful substances. The Feluna filling wadding therefore offers a convincing overall package of safety, ease of care and versatility.
