The ISOTRONIC animal repellent made a very good impression in our test. The product can be used in many places , e.g. in the garage, in the loft, in cars or even in stables and barns. The device works with high frequencies and interval switching. Due to its small size and battery operation, it can be used anywhere. The high-pitched sound is perceived by cats, but does not disturb them. Horses do not react to the high frequency, so it can be used in stables. Environmental protection and animal welfare are particularly important to the manufacturer, which is why no chemicals are used and the rodents are driven away without killing them. The manufacturer also emphasises that the company is a German company based in Baden-Württemberg . The device was also researched and developed in Germany.

Packaging
The animal repeller was delivered in a standard cardboard box. This was undamaged and easy to open without tools. The device was protected by a paper wrapping, as was the small screwdriver supplied and two cable ties for attaching the device. The battery, a Velcro strip for possible attachment and the instructions for use were enclosed loose in the box. The entire packaging is easily recyclable.
Product protection was the top priority during despatch so that the product could be delivered in perfect condition .

After unpacking, there were four things on the table. In addition to the device itself and the battery, there were two cable ties, a Velcro fastener to hold it in place and the instruction manual. The latter explains the handling of the product in nine languages and provides installation instructions. There were also various instructions for use on the product packaging. The company’s address is given and the e-mail address can be found by scanning the QR code on the packaging. Unfortunately, the customer has no way of contacting customer service by telephone . As the product was delivered undamaged and without unnecessary packaging waste, we are talking about a very customer-friendly and environmentally friendly way of sending a product.

The animal repeller is made of plastic with a small button to activate the high-pitched sounds. The batteries supplied can be placed in the device using the small screwdriver that is also included. Opening the battery compartment with the mini screwdriver is not so easy. You should use your own Phillips screwdriver here.
The plastic used is easy to grip and has no sharp corners or edges. Overall, the product makes a very good first impression. Unfortunately, there is no sustainability classification. The sustainability aspects of the manufacturing process are not apparent, at least not to the end user.

We enjoyed using the animal repeller during testing. The product is a small and handy device that can be used in a variety of ways. We were also impressed by the reaction of our pet cat, which reacted to the high-frequency sound but was not frightened. The animals also remained calm when the device was used in the horse stable. No sound was perceptible to the human ear during the test.
The product can be attached easily and securely thanks to the mounting materials supplied. It can be placed in a selected location even more easily. Thanks to its handy size, the device is unobtrusive.
