Product description provided by the manufacturer
ARNOMED disposable shoe covers offer a hygienic, practical and versatile solution for protecting shoes in sensitive work areas such as clinics, laboratories, the food industry and on construction sites. They are available in different designs – made from moisture-repellent CPE material and PP fleece, which ensures breathability. Particularly noteworthy is the flexibility of choice – from the classic CPE model to the slip-resistant ABS version with additional functions.
In addition to a high standard of hygiene, the product also offers excellent wearing comfort and stability.
However, even cleaner workmanship would have been desirable, especially in view of the disposable concept.
Advantages
- Moisture and dirt repellent
- Breathable versions available
- Unisex & one size fits all up to size 47

We tested the ARNOMED shoe covers in their standard packaging. The product protection is completely adequate – the plastic bag packaging reliably protects the contents from external influences and mechanical stress. In terms of sustainability, excessive packaging waste has been avoided, which we consider positive. The packaging is functional, practical and fulfils its purpose, even if it is not a sustainable packaging concept.
The package contents corresponded to the product description (100 pieces per bag) and all components were complete and undamaged. Separate instructions for use were not necessary, as this is an intuitive product that can be used quickly and without instructions – particularly important in hectic working environments such as operating theatres or construction sites.

The first impression is clear: ARNOMED shoe covers reliably fulfil their purpose as a disposable product. The visual appearance is acceptable for this product category – functional, simple and clean. However, it was noticeable that the workmanship appears somewhat rough in places, for example at the welds or on the underside of the non-slip versions.
In terms of stability, the shoe covers are completely convincing. Even under heavy use, such as in everyday hospital or construction site conditions, they retain their shape and provide reliable protection.
As this is a single-use consumable product, no statements can be made about sustainability or reusability – however, this is in line with the industry standard for such protective products.

No moisture on the shoes. The shoes remained completely dry
Points
Elasticity of the elastic band
The elastic band has good elasticity, but suffers slight deformation, which only becomes visible after several stretches. This does not significantly impair function
Points
Durability when repeatedly put on and taken off
Minimal signs of wear are visible, but these are so minor that they do not impair the function of the overshoes in any way. The material remains intact and stable

In extensive practical testing, ARNOMED’s disposable shoe covers performed well in almost all areas. The fit was consistently good for all shoe sizes tested from 36 to 46 – the elastic band fits snugly without cutting into the skin, and the shoe covers are easy to put on and take off.
The tear resistance was also positive – no tears, only minimal wear after repeated use. The water resistance of the CPE material variants was successfully confirmed – the shoe remained dry after contact with liquids.
We rate the elasticity of the elastic band as good – even after several stretching processes, it showed only slight deformation that did not impair its function.
Overall, it can be said that the disposable shoe covers deliver what the manufacturer promises and are a reliable solution for hygiene and protection in everyday working life.
