The bike saddle cover from auvstar is designed for cyclists who don’t want to compromise on comfort, even on longer rides. Thanks to its 7-layer padding made of gel, foam and silicone, it noticeably reduces pressure points and ensures a more comfortable ride – even on uneven terrain or longer tours.
Particularly noteworthy is the good shock absorption, which we found to be significantly relieving in practical testing. In addition to ergonomic padding, the product also offers excellent slip resistance thanks to a sophisticated anti-slip system.
However, we would have liked to see a slightly better fit for very wide or narrow saddles.
Overall, the saddle cover is a worthwhile addition to any bike – whether road bike, mountain bike or city bike. The included waterproof cover rounds off the package and reliably protects the cover from moisture.

The auvstar bike seat cover makes a well-designed impression right out of the box. The packaging is reduced to the bare essentials, consisting only of a small protective plastic film that securely wraps the most important parts. Superfluous packaging waste has been deliberately avoided, which we expressly welcome in terms of sustainability. The contents are complete, so the product is ready for immediate use. Instructions for use are not included, but are not necessary – handling is intuitive and self-explanatory. The saddle cover can be fitted and adjusted in just a few simple steps, which saves a lot of time in everyday use. The clear, minimalist packaging and the complete delivery contents leave a positive overall impression.

The auvstar saddle cover impresses with its modern and sporty design, which blends harmoniously into the overall look of a wide variety of bikes. The material feels high-quality, and on closer inspection, we did not notice any manufacturing defects. The seams, Velcro fasteners and surfaces are cleanly finished and securely stitched. The soft, elastic surface is particularly pleasant, providing a noticeably comfortable ride. The stability of the entire construction is also impressive – in testing, the cover remained dimensionally stable and durable even after repeated installation and removal.

In practical use, the auvstar saddle cover fully lived up to most of its advertised features. The fit is generally very good, although slight adjustment difficulties may occur with particularly narrow or very wide saddles. The included rain cover impressed us with its complete water repellency – even under running water, the interior remained dry. In terms of seating comfort, the gel and silicone layer proved itself even on longer tours: even after over an hour, only minimal discomfort was noticeable. The fasteners held the cover securely in place throughout the entire ride, which suggests a well-thought-out design. Positive: despite movement and stress, there were no annoying noises, which further improved the overall impression.
