The first impression of the Bächlein bath plug and its packaging is positive and impresses with its functional product protection. The cardboard box offers sufficient protection so that the bath plug arrives undamaged at the end user. When you first touch it, the Bächlein bath plug impresses with its high-quality appearance and fine, chrome-plated surface, which further emphasises the elegant design. The high-quality choice of material has a positive effect on durability and gives the product an elegant and long-lasting appearance. In our practical test, the Bächlein bath plug fulfilled all of the manufacturer’s important advertising promises. The leak test shows that the stopper ensures a complete seal in the bathtub without water escaping. The fit is perfect so that the stopper sits firmly in the drain and there is no play. Even after repeated use and contact with hot water, no changes to the material could be detected. Even with regular cleaning, the simple design means that residues can be removed effortlessly so that the stopper remains permanently clean. There are only minimal signs of wear on the underside after intensive use, but these do not impair its function. The Bächlein bath plug therefore proves to be robust and reliable, making it a recommended choice for end users.

On the manufacturer’s website, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.7 stars. In some cases, the screw connection of the plug is criticised for being too loose. On the other hand, the tightness and universal fit are positively emphasised. However, consumer criticism of the screw connection of the plug was not justified and is perhaps due to an operating error on the part of individual customers. We were unable to identify this point of criticism in our practical test.
Prices of up to €15 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very affordable products are available from as little as €8 . With a price of €9.95, the Bächlein bath plug is therefore currently in the favourable price segment. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
