The MORNING bathrobe from Nebulus made a good overall impression in our test. The bathrobe is available for men and women . It comes with a belt that is tied around the waist to fasten the bathrobe. The bathrobe also has practical pockets on the front. The bathrobe is available in two different colors for women and only in navy blue for men. There are also two different sizes for men and five for women. For our test , we received the bathrobe in black and in size S for women and size M for men. The bathrobe fits our testers very well. The material quality and workmanship were just as impressive as the bathrobe in the practical test. This shows that the bathrobe fits comfortably for a long time and the belt holds well. Unfortunately, the fleece fabric only absorbs moisture to a limited extent.

In our case, the MORNING bathrobe from Nebulus was delivered together with other products in a sturdy shipping box. The shipping box was undamaged and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. The shipping box was also optimally sized, as it was filled to the top. This protects the environment: not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimized, but the small space required by the package also ensures better utilization of the transport vehicles. Inside the box was the MORNING bathrobe in its product packaging. The product packaging consists of a transparent plastic bag in which the MORNING bathrobe was packed. The film is tear-resistant and non-stretchable. A Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. There is also a sticker with a barcode, the product name and the size of the bathrobe. There are warnings on the back that the bag poses a choking hazard. The information is available in four languages, including German and English. There is an opening on the top of the bag, which is sealed with an adhesive strip on the film. The adhesive strip is reusable. If the bathrobe is to be returned, the bag can be resealed with the existing adhesive strip. There is another layer of thin paper between the individual layers of the folded bathrobe to prevent the fabric of the bathrobe from rubbing against each other during transportation. The tag on the zipper is also wrapped in thin packaging paper. The MORNING bathrobe isvery well protected from damage and soiling by the cardboard box and the plastic bag.

ℹ️ Most people’s first impression after unpacking is immediately memorable. Are the contents of the package complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

The bathrobe is delivered with the matching bathrobe belt . There is a cardboard disc the size of a beer mat on the label , which is printed on both sides in high gloss with the Nebulus logo, which can also be found on the product packaging.
There are no instructions for use, but they are not required. Washing instructions can be found on a label on the inside of the bathrobe, where they are illustrated with the familiar symbols. There is also information about the material composition of the MORNING bathrobe, as well as the size and product name.

ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the product processing. How high quality are the materials used? Is the look and feel satisfactory?

For our test, we received the MORNING bathrobe for women in black and for men in cobalt blue. In addition to black, Nebulus also offers the bathrobe for women in cobalt blue. No other colors are currently available for men. Both colors of our bathrobes are elegant and have a subtle and timeless look. Regardless of the men’s or women’s version, the bathrobe is made from a soft and comfortable fleece fabric that offers optimum comfort. The fabric is even and pleasant to the touch. As is usual with bathrobes, the front is open. A matching belt is included for fastening. The bathrobe has two pockets on the front, which are positioned at stomach height. These are open at the top and are made from the same fabric as the bathrobe. As a color contrast to the base color, the bathrobe has a round patch with Nebulus lettering and the Norwegian flag on the chest. Nebulus lettering and the Norwegian flag are sewn onto the right chest. Next to it is a round patch with Nebulus lettering and the Norwegian flag. There is also large Nebulus lettering sewn onto the left forearm. As a special extra, one side of the belt is also made from a woven fabric in the same color as the lettering. The other side of the belt is the same color as the bathrobe and is also made of fleece. The bathrobe does not have a hood, but it does have a high collar. A second layer of fabric is sewn onto the inside of the collar, which is not made of fleece but of a fine fabric. The fabric has a typical Norwegian flag design. This additional contrast to the color of the bathrobe gives the collar a special touch and adds another subtle yet eye-catching accent to the overall look. The back of the bathrobe is kept simple without any patches or prints. Two eyelets are attached to the sides of the bathrobe at hip height, through which the belt can be threaded. The belt consists of a fabric band and has no buckle, but is tied instead. The fabric of the bathrobe is rather thin, slightly stretchy in a small area and tear-resistant. According to the manufacturer, the bathrobe is made entirely of polyester. The fabric is single-layered and the surface on the inside and outside is the same. However, this is not a disadvantage as it feels good, as is typical of fleece. The seams are all even and clean. There are hardly any protruding threads and, if there are any, they are only very short. Apart from this, there are no other manufacturing faults to be found on the bathrobe. Overall, the two bathrobes with the lettering, the logo and the depiction of the Norwegian flag in the collar are a fashionable item of clothing. The quality of the fabrics used, the seams and the overall workmanship are also impressive.

The MORNING bathrobe is sold in various sizes. These range from S to XXL for women, but only sizes S and M are available for the men’s version. In our test , we received the bathrobe for women in S and for men in M. The men’s version in M fits our tester, who is 170 cm tall, like a glove; it would probably still fit well even if he were a few centimetres taller. The coat reaches to the middle of the shins and the sleeves are also the right length. The front overlaps generously so that all important areas are covered when tied. The women’s model in M also fits our tester, who is just over 1.60 m tall, very well and the bathrobe also reaches over her knees. The bathrobe is easy to tie. However, if the front is to provide reliable privacy, care must be taken to ensure that the overlapping area on the front is well positioned before the belt is tied. What is surprising is how well the belt holds. Even with a simple knot, the binding did not come undone in our practical test when walking. The bathrobe fits comfortably and does not slip when walking. The bathrobe can also be worn for long periods without any problems if the skin and the robe are dry. The fleece fabric also feels soft and comfortable against bare skin. In our practical test, we also tested how the bathrobe feels on a wet body. Unfortunately, the robe is not as convincing here as it is when dry. The fleece fabric only absorbs moisture slowly and then feels cold and wet. It also shows that small pieces of fluff come loose on stubbly body hair and get caught in the hair. We therefore recommend only using the bathrobe after drying off. On the other hand, the two pockets on the front proved to be very practical in the test. Items such as smartphones can be stored here. The bathrobe is also suitable for everyday use thanks to its high level of comfort. In the last part of our practical test, we wash the bathrobe according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the Morning bathrobe, this means an easy-care wash cycle at 30 °C without drying or ironing. As the bathrobe is also worn without underwear and often comes into contact with wetness, we would have liked it to be washable at 60 °C as well. After washing, the laundry smells of the detergent used, but otherwise there is no noticeable difference. The bathrobe survives the washing process without any damage or fading. Overall, the Morning bathrobe was convincing in our practical test. It is very comfortable when dry, is easy to tie and also withstands washing without any problems. Unfortunately, it cannot be washed at 60°C and the bathrobe is also reluctant to absorb water.
