Packaging
The LAZY BAG® beanbag arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. This was undamaged on arrival and could be easily opened by removing the adhesive strip. The cover of the cushion was also protected with a plastic film. This type of packaging provided the product with optimum protection against external influences. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the beanbag was delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. However, the plastic film cannot be recycled . Nevertheless, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

First, the ticking with the EPS beads is inserted into the outer cover. The zipper and the additional Velcro fastener prevent children from opening it unintentionally. In addition, the ticking is so robust that it does not tear through the Velcro fastener when being filled. The initial chemical smell dissipates over time and is harmless according to the manufacturer.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.3 stars. One criticism is that the beanbag exudes an unpleasant, chemical smell and that there is not enough EPS filling. Other reviewers, on the other hand, find the filling and therefore the seating comfort ideal, praise the quality and recommend the product. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the chemical smell dissipates after a while. We also found the filling to be borderline depending on the sitting position. However, this can be quickly remedied with a refill pack .
