The BORGEN bike wall mount made a very good impression during the test. The holder can be used for wall mounting in the garage or in the house. It makes it very easy to store the bike, as all you have to do is insert the frame of the MTB or road bike into the padded frame holder.
The wall bracket is foldable and can therefore simply be folded up to save space when not in use. The product is made of high-quality steel and designed for a load capacity of 20 kg.
The material used is of good quality and very good workmanship. There are no unpolished edges or processing defects on the bike rack.

The Borgen bike wall mount arrived for our test in the typical shipping box, so it was easy to open by removing the adhesive strip and was delivered undamaged.
The box contained the packaging with the mount. In addition, detailed operating instructions were printed on the packaging, which could be read in German and four other languages . The complete contact information was also printed on the product packaging. Plastic was used for the packaging of the bike holder. In this case, the product was fully protected and the holder was therefore in perfect condition.
The packaging of the wall mount is not completely recyclable due to the plastic.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, there are several things on the workbench in addition to the bike wall mount . The set included four strong screws and matching Fischer Duopower plugs as well as a Velcro strip for fastening and the appropriate Allen key for adjustment.
Instructions for using and fixing the product can be found on the product packaging. The contact information includes a hotline and e-mail address. All in all, this is an exceptionally well thought-out and customer-friendly way to send a product.

Unfortunately, there is no information about sustainability on the Amazon product page or on the packaging. Due to the high-quality materials used, we assume a long service life.

We really enjoyed using the BORGEN bike rackduring the test. Installation is child’s play and can be carried out by anyone thanks to the good assembly instructions . Thanks to the well thought-out 2-screw clamping system, the handlebar distance to the wall and the angle for horizontal storage can be quickly and firmly adjusted for different bike frames.
The extra soft padding protects the bike frame very well from scratches and storage damage .
If the wall bracket is not needed, it can simply be folded up to save space , thus creating order and space.
In short, it is a great product for storing your bike when not in use.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.7 stars. One common complaint is that the paint on the bracket flakes off after a few months and the dowels do not hold securely (2021). Many customers like the fact that installation is very easy and the bike is securely stowed away . The defect in the plugs has since been rectified, as high-quality Fischer Duopower plugs are now used. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the bike holds very well on the bracket and that it is also very easy to mount with the right tools.
Prices of up to €45.99 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €14.35. With a price of €34.95, the BORGEN bike wall mount is currently in the middle price segment. The price ratio is very good for the quality and scope of services that you get.
