As part of our current product test, Prüfengel GmbH has thoroughly tested the BikePeak Mount Lockup bicycle lock. The bike lock is aimed at everyday cyclists as well as sporty users and offers keyless security via a five-digit combination lock. With over 100,000 possible combinations, the manufacturer promises a high level of security and convenience in everyday use.
We were particularly impressed by the combination of a robust steel chain, a well-designed length of 90 centimeters, and a weatherproof protective cover. The lock can be flexibly attached to lampposts, bike racks, or fences, making it versatile. The product demonstrated impressive durability in changing weather conditions. The advantages of the product are clearly its simple keyless operation, high material quality, and universal applicability for e-bikes, city bikes, road bikes, and mountain bikes.
The onlynegative points are that operating the combination lock with gloves on requires a little more dexterity and that no holder for the bike lock is included.
Overall, the BikePeak bike lock makes a very solid impression and is suitable for everyday use.

From the perspective of Testengel GmbH, it is particularly noteworthy that unnecessary packaging waste has been consistently avoided, which meets the growing demand for sustainable packaging.
The package contents proved to be complete and clearly arranged in the test. All relevant components were neatly stowed away and ready for immediate use. A classic printed manual is not included; instead, the manufacturer provides instructions for use via a QR code on the packaging. We consider this solution to be contemporary and environmentally friendly, as it saves paper while still providing a comprehensible product explanation.
Overall, the packaging and scope of delivery impress with a successful combination of product protection, sustainability, and user-friendliness, leaving a professional overall impression.

When you first see the BikePeak Mount Lockup bike lock, you immediately notice its attractive design, which is both functional and modern. The high-quality coating on the steel chain not only gives the lock a pleasant feel, but also protects the bike frame from scratches.
We rate the workmanship as consistently good. All materials appear durable and cleanly finished, with no sharp edges or noticeable weak points. Even when subjected to targeted force, the lock proved to be very stable and resistant in our test. The combination lock locks precisely and conveys a high degree of security.
Overall, the bike lock meets the expectations of demanding end users in terms of both appearance and quality.

In detailed practical testing, the BikePeak Mount Lockup bike lock convincingly delivered on most of its advertising promises. Its mechanical strength proved to be very good: after intensive use, there were only slight scratches and small dents, which had no impact on its functionality.
The weather resistance was also impressive. Even after humidity and temperature fluctuation tests, we could not detect any corrosion or malfunctions. The combination lock is easy and reliable to use, although setting the combination can be a little difficult when wearing gloves.
In terms of ergonomic handling, the lock scores points with its easy-to-read numbers and smooth-running mechanism. Its compatibility with different types of bikes and mounting options was also confirmed: whether e-bike, city bike, or mountain bike, the lock fit perfectly in all test situations. Overall, the product delivers impressive everyday performance.
