The adia mmol/l blood glucose meter is a practical set for daily blood glucose measurement. It is particularly suitable for beginners and is mainly used in eastern Germany, as the unit of measurement is mmol/l. The set contains everything you need: 60 test strips, a lancing device, 10 lancets, a diary and a storage bag. A major advantage of the device is the fast and accurate measurement, which provides a result after just 5 seconds. Thanks to the autocoding system, no manual coding is required, so the device is ready for use immediately after inserting the test strip. It also has a large, illuminated display and a memory for 365 measured values, which can be saved with the date and time. The hygienic eject button makes it easy to dispose of used test strips without having to touch them directly.
Certified quality in accordance with DIN ISO 15197:201 and regular quality controls in Germany guarantee reliable measurement results. The intuitive handling and a German-language hotline with diabetes experts give the user additional security. However, it would be desirable if more than 10 lancets were included in the set, as these are quickly used up with regular measurements.

The mmol/L blood glucose meter from adia is supplied in a cardboard box that is well suited to the size of the product.
Inside the box is the case with the meter, blood glucose test strips, the lancing device with matching lancets, a diabetes diary, a quick guide and detailed operating instructions as well as the warranty card for registration. A product catalogue, a return envelope and glucose were also included.
The product features and contents are printed on the outside of the product box in both German and three other languages.

When you pick up the blood glucose meter for the first time, the size and design are immediately noticeable: The dimensions of the product and the colour design are modern and reminiscent of other digital medical products. The case included in the scope of delivery is perfectly matched to the size of the meter and also offers storage space for the necessary accessories.
The workmanship of the device looks good and it is also reasonably stable .
The seller does not provide any specific information regarding sustainability , but it can be assumed that the high-quality measuring device can be used for a long time. Free recycling of the old device is offered . Other components such as the test strips and lancets are disposable products that must be disposed of after a single use.
Overall, this product makes a very positive first impression.

The mmol/l blood glucose meter from adia impresses in practical tests with its simple operation and precise measurements. The lancing device supplied can be adjusted in five stages, making blood sampling painless and efficient . However, the 10 disposable lancets included in the set may not be sufficient for some users.
The measured values can be clearly read on the large illuminated display within 5 seconds, which makes the entire blood glucose measurement process easier. The operating instructions are available in German and three other languages, both as short and detailed instructions. The instructions are easy to understand and simple to implement.
The memory for 365 readings is clearly structured and allows you to track your blood glucose values over a longer period of time. The device also offers hygienic handling: the eject button for used test strips allows them to be disposed of without contact.
After cleaning and disinfection, the device remains functional and clean so that no residue is visible. Overall, the adia blood glucose meter fulfils the performance promised by the manufacturer in all areas tested.
