The cardboard box is robust and ensures that the bed arrives undamaged. A particularly positive feature is the fact that no unnecessary packaging material is used, which shows that sustainability is also possible when shipping furniture. The excellent workmanship of the bed is immediately noticeable, as all edges are neatly finished and smooth. There are no dents or chips to be seen. In addition, the bed offers excellent stability, which is due to the robust construction made of durable pine plywood. This means that it can be moved back and forth and stacked on top of each other without any problems. The focus on sustainability is particularly noteworthy: only high-quality and environmentally friendly materials are used. The pine wood used comes from FSC-certified forests and the paints and varnishes used are water-based and comply with the latest safety standards. The smartwood® TILA floor bed fully met our expectations in the practical test. Assembly is very easy thanks to the clear instructions and the simple design means it can be completed quickly. In addition to the wood screws, the dowel connections ensure a stable hold. There are no noises such as creaking when the bed is moved, which speaks in favour of the high quality of workmanship. Cleaning is also simple, as the smooth surfaces are easy to wipe clean. Thanks to its simple, modern design, the bed can be easily integrated into various living concepts without compromising on functionality. Several beds can easily be stacked on top of each other. Other TILA models can also be placed on top. Thanks to its compact size, the bed is also easy to store.
Overall, the TILA floor bed from smartwood® impresses with its functionality, stability and attractive design.
