About Us

Prüfengel offers authentic consumer tests in which real users share their experiences with products. Our tests are based on practical applications in everyday life and reflect the opinions of consumers. As we focus on consumer tests, we do not carry out any material, long-term or laboratory tests. The tests are carried out by 1-2 independent consumers over a period of 7-14 days. The exact test conditions can be viewed in the test plan of the respective test report – click here to go directly to the test plan.

Manufacturers provide the tested products free of charge. We charge a one-off test fee for carrying out the tests. In addition, manufacturers pay an annual licence fee for the use of the Prüfengel seal. We also receive a commission for linking to manufacturers’ websites. These remunerations have no influence on our test results or ratings.

HOLKIE office chair castors are high-quality replacement castors that have been specially developed for use on various floor coverings. They are ideal for professional use in offices, gaming environments or home offices. The castors are coated with a particularly thick, non-marking polyurethane layer. This means they leave no marks and glide silently. Particularly noteworthy is the robust steel construction , which ensures a high load capacity of up to 200 kg. Thanks to the simple plug-and-play installation, replacement is straightforward: just pull out the old castors and insert the new ones. The product thus offers a safe, floor-friendly solution without damaging expensive floors.

The first impression of the HOLKIE office chair castors is extremely positive. The product is delivered in a classic shipping box that gives a solid impression and ensures safe transport. The castors are compactly packaged so that they are optimally protected during transport. In terms of sustainability, it is noticeable that the packaging is partly made of plastic. Although this is common practice, it could be made more environmentally friendly . The package contents are complete, all components are in perfect condition and ready for immediate use. The enclosed instructions are clearly written and contain helpful illustrations that make it easy to replace the castors.

Practical testing confirms the chair’s exceptionally high stability under full load. It remains completely stable, with no noise or deformation. This indicates precise manufacturing and robust construction. The smooth running of the castors was tested on various floors: they move evenly and with minimal effort, without resistance or blockages. This ensures comfortable use in everyday life. The noise level when rolling on carpet, laminate and tiles is virtually silent. This makes it much easier to use in quiet working environments. During the entire test phase, the castors were regularly checked for possible blockages caused by hair or dirt. No blockages were found ; the castors remained clean and fully functional at all times. The strength of the castor fastenings was also confirmed. After intensive stress tests , the fastenings showed no signs of loosening or play, but remained stable and secure. Overall, the test shows that the manufacturer fully delivers on its advertising promises in terms of stability, smooth running and durability.
