The cat and dog repeller from ISOTRONIC made a good impression in the test. The product prevents cats and dogs from visiting the garden, barn or other places. According to the manufacturer, the device has an effective radius of up to 40 square metres. With a tone frequency of 16-60 kHz, this signal tone has an unpleasant effect on cats and dogs, which means that maggots give the garden or similar a wide berth. It works in a similar way to the marten repellent test.
No chemicals are used here and the packaging in particular is very environmentally friendly, as care has been taken to ensure that no plastic is used in the packaging. The cat and dog repe ller from ISOTRONIC arrived for our test in the typical shipping box, so it was easy to open by removing the adhesive strip and was delivered undamaged.
The box contained the cat and dog repeller, which was wrapped in paper, as well as a detailed instruction manual, which could be read in over 4 languages. The packaging protects the product from scratches and dirt! In this case, the product was fully protected and the cat and dog repeller was therefore in perfect condition.

After unpacking, there were several individual items on the kitchen table. In addition to the cat and dog repeller, our test included two metal screws and four cable ties, which are used to attach the cat and dog repeller.
The manufacturer also provides an instruction manual, which explains the installation of the cat and dog repeller to the customer in over 4 languages. Installation and commissioning went without a hitch.
An e-mail address could be obtained by scanning a QR code on the packaging. The cat and dog repeller is guaranteed for over 2 years.

The cat and dog repeller from ISOTRONIC makes a very good visual impression in the test. In addition to the simple design, it has no manufacturing faults. The cat and dog repe ller is made of plastic, which is common for products of this type. The product is also waterproof in accordance with the “IP54” standard.
The product impresses with its low weight and sturdy workmanship. The customer is provided with high-quality protection against martens, which also emits visual signals in the form of a flashing LED when it emits a signal tone.
Unfortunately, we cannot find any information on sustainability , but the materials used appear to be of very high quality, which is why we assume a long service life.

We enjoyed installing and using the ISOTRONIC cat and dog repeller during the test. Installation is easy and can be carried out in two ways. The cat and dog repeller can either be attached to a post with two screws or with four cable ties. The materials are supplied for both variants.
Two trials were carried out to test the effectiveness. In the first test, I placed the cat and dog repeller near the cat in the house to see how he reacted. The cat heard the noises, but was not very impressed by the disturbing noises. As the manufacturer points out that it takes some time for the cat and dog repeller to get used to it, I installed it in the covered driveway to drive stray cats away from the car. In my case, this worked after just a few days and the cats no longer want to go to these places. It is important to mention here that the noise can sometimes be heard by people (depending on their hearing) and it is extremely important where the device is installed, as the effective radius of 40 square metres is not particularly large .

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 2.7 stars. Criticism is often levelled at the fact that the signal tones do not deter cats. Many customers like the fact that it is easy to install and has a very attractive design. In our practical test, we were also able to confirm that the design was very attractive and the installation is very simple. However, we noticed during our test that the deterrent for the neighbour’s cat worked.
Prices of up to €47.89 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €17.55. The cat and dog repeller from ISOTRONIC is therefore in the middle price segment in our test with a price of €29.95. The price ratio is good for the quality and scope of services you get.
