Packaging
The compression stockings from CORE GORIMO arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. Due to its size, it was easy to place in the letterbox. It was undamaged and easy to open thanks to the integrated tear strip. The box contained the compression stockings packed in a paper envelope together with instructions for donning and care. The packaging method optimally protects the product from external influences. It is also not necessary to remove any labels. Product protection is therefore fully guaranteed and the compression stockings are delivered in perfect condition . The packaging is also recyclable. In this respect, the product leaves a very good first impression. Neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

The paper envelope contained the compression stockings without any labelling, so no utensils were needed to remove the packaging. The correct handling (donning and care instructions) was described on a small card in German with pictures. The contact information can be found on the product box and in a small letter to the customer on the back of the instruction card. However, there is no customer hotline. Nevertheless, this is a very good way to send a product.

Firstly, it should be mentioned that the compression stockings make a very good visual impression. We didn’t notice any sewing faults, the material is elasticated but still retains its shape. The product also impresses with its attractive yet simple design.
Information on the sustainability of the product can only be found in the packaging. In order to guarantee a long service life under the same conditions (elasticity and shape), the manufacturer provides tips on how to gently clean the compression stockings in the enclosed care instructions. Before wearing the compression stockings for the first time, the manufacturer recommends washing the product in an accompanying letter. We can therefore confirm that the compression stockings retain their original shape after washing at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle. CORE GORIMO describes how to put on the stockings in a small instruction booklet, which is particularly helpful for first-time customers. In the wear test, the product fits the entire foot comfortably tightly without constricting and was easy to put on and take off. However, a small bulge forms at the transition area between the instep and shin, which can be annoying. We could clearly feel the compressive effect during our test run, during which the compression socks neither slipped nor rubbed. In addition, our legs maintained a pleasant temperature despite the autumn weather. Overall, our legs felt less heavy than usual after the run.
