As part of our product test, we took a closer look at the TwinFry hot air fryer from COSORI. The appliance proved to be functional and efficient. As promised by the manufacturer, the Dual Blaze™ heating technology was indeed able to reduce the cooking time by 65% and increase energy efficiency by 45%. The 10-litre cooking space proved to be generous and sufficient to cook whole chickens or large pizzas, making the fryer particularly suitable for family meals. The 5-litre double baskets also impressed with their flexibility, as different dishes could be prepared at the same time. Control via the VeSync app worked flawlessly and made it easy to monitor the cooking process. The deep fryer also scored highly when it came to cleaning: The dishwasher-safe baskets and non-stick coated trays were effortless to clean. On the negative side, however, the packaging contained plastic film and the fryer initially gave off a plastic odour. Despite these minor flaws, the TwinFry hot air fryer proved to be a well thought-out and powerful solution for the modern kitchen.

The packaging of the hot air fryer makes a good impression. The shipping carton is made of recyclable materials and is compactly designed to minimise waste and avoid unnecessary packaging material. The contents of the packaging were complete and well organised: In addition to the air fryer itself, a recipe book and a multilingual instruction manual were included. The operating instructions were clearly organised and included clear pictures, which made it easier to set up and operate the appliance for the first time. One small point of criticism was the use of plastic film for the packaging, where a more environmentally friendly alternative would be desirable.

However, COSORI does not provide any specific information on the durability of the materials. The two-year manufacturer’s guarantee emphasises the confidence in the quality and durability of the product.

The practical test showed that the TwinFry hot air fryer reliably implements many of its technical features. The temperature control proved to be extremely precise and led to even cooking results, especially when preparing fries, which were always crispy and evenly browned. The timer function also worked precisely and ensured that the food was ready on time. The heating power of the appliance was also impressive in the test. The food was heated quickly and evenly, which clearly emphasises the efficiency of the deep fryer. Operating the appliance proved to be simple and intuitive. The app, which could be used to select different foods and their specific settings, was particularly positive. The appliance automatically set itself to the optimum parameters so that only the start button on the deep fryer had to be pressed. Cleaning the COSORI TwinFry proved to be uncomplicated in the test. The frying basket and other individual parts could easily be cleaned in the dishwasher, which minimised the amount of maintenance required.
Overall, the TwinFry hot air fryer offers very good cooking results, user-friendly handling and an easy-to-clean design.

Only a few customers complain that the food is difficult to remove from the basket and that the initial plastic odour is unpleasant. However, many customers appreciate the versatility of the COSORI TwinFry hot air fryer and its ease of use, which is supported by the precise temperature control and intuitive app control. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the user-friendliness is high and cleaning the individual parts is straightforward. However, the initial plastic odour was noticeable.
