The BonAura dehumidifier made a good impression in our test. The product impresses with its simple, timeless design and robust workmanship. Apart from minor imperfections on one part of the product, we were unable to detect any material defects. The dehumidifier is easy to install and is operated without electricity, so it works silently . A true all-rounder, it can be placed in any room to prevent moisture and mold growth . The scope of delivery(two packets of granules) guarantees use for 4 months. Children should not have access to the product.

We have looked at and tested the product in detail in a practical test. In the following, we take a closer look at the features and impressions. The product is subjected to our test procedure from the packaging, materials and quality to the range of functions and handling.

Packaging
The BonAura dehumidifier came in the typical shipping box for our test. This was undamaged on arrival and could be opened easily by removing the adhesive strip. The product box contained the dehumidifier and two packets of granules. The latter were shrink-wrapped in foil. This type of packaging optimally protected the product from external influences. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the dehumidifier was delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. However, the plastic film is not recyclable. Regardless of this, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

The product box contained the dehumidifier consisting of a container with a pouring function, a partition and the lid. Two refill packs with granules were also included. Instructions for use are not required for the product, but an e-book with tips for a perfect climate in your own four walls can be accessed via a QR code on the packaging.
The product box contains all contact details, including a telephone number and email address. Overall, this is a very good way to send a product.

Structure
First of all, it should be mentioned that the dehumidifier makes a very good visual impression. There are only minor manufacturing flaws (unclean edges on the partition), but otherwise the product looks flawless and robust. The dehumidifier also impresses with its timeless, simple design, which blends into any living area.
There is no information on the sustainability of the product on the product page or on the packaging. However, due to the materials used, we assume a long service life. If the granules are used up (after around 4 months), they can be reordered separately.

We really enjoyed using the BonAura dehumidifier during the test. Installation is child’s play and can be carried out by anyone. All you have to do is place a bag of granules in the appliance and close the lid. Now the dehumidifier can be set up in any room – we chose the bedroom. Without electricity and therefore noiseless , it is ideal for reducing the humidity in occupied rooms and thus preventing mold growth and odors. The dehumidifier stands stably on flat surfaces. However, care should be taken to ensure that small children in the household do not have access to the product.
The refill bag supplied lasts for 4 months. After just over a week, we noticed that the granules had hardened and gained 150g in weight. After a total of 16 days, water could also be poured out of the collection container. In addition, the visible condensation on the window, especially in the morning hours, has decreased significantly. How the humidity develops over a longer period of time would have to be checked in a long-term test.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 3.7 stars. Some complain that the product does not fulfill its intended purpose of absorbing moisture, or only insufficiently. Other reviewers, however, confirm the functionality of the product and report a reduction in moisture. The courteous customer service and the design are also praised. In our practical test, we observed that the granules absorbed moisture after just one week and that water collected in the container after a further week. We therefore assume that it works properly .
Prices of up to €20 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available for as little as €3. This puts the BonAura dehumidifier in the upper price segment with a current price of €17.99. Consequently, the price ratio for the quality and the scope of services you get is okay.
