My first impression of the PetTec dog lead was very positive.
The packaging was simple and adapted to the size of the product, making it easy to unpack.

Our practical test of the PetTec dog lead has shown that the manufacturer largely lives up to and even exceeds its advertising promises.
The versatility of the lead is impressive, as it is suitable for most dog breeds and has a tensile strength of up to 80 kg. The pulling force does not indicate the weight of the dog, but the pull exerted on the lead.
Equipped with two high-quality snap hooks and an eyelet , the 5 meter long drag line can be used to form a large loop. This loop is large enough to carry the leash safely over the shoulder, which is particularly practical for keeping your hands free.
Particular attention has been paid to safety aspects , which are important for both the dog and the handler. The leash is made of three robust Trioflex material layers and has two snap hooks with a 90° lever and a 360° swivel made of stainless steel. This design ensures a secure attachment and prevents the leash from twisting or tangling. However, we would like to point out that the noise made when the eyelet is pulled over the ground can initially irritate anxious dogs.

The weather resistance of the lead is also impressive across the board. It is water and dirt repellent, which makes it safe to use even when the lead is wet. Cleaning is extremely easy by simply w iping with a cloth.
