The Werkthor drive-on ramps have proven to be a very space-saving, yet very useful and stable car accessory. As the two ramps can be stacked inside each other, they can be hung in a corner or on a wall at any time and are still ready for use in seconds. The product is not CE-certified, but has withstood a VW Golf 7 Variant with a weight of approx. 900 kg on the front axle without any problems. The studs and the underbody covering of the ramps ensure that the car can drive over them without slipping.

The product design is very well thought out both on the work surface and under the ramps. There are several knobs and slip mechanisms on the ramp so that the product could also be used in snow. The workmanship was clean all round with no possible damage and it was also very stable. No information was provided on the durability of the product. However, due to the high quality of workmanship, it can be used in the long term.

In practical testing, the product clearly proved to be an inexpensive but very useful and very safe workshop aid. A VW Golf 7 Variant with a front axle load of approx. 900 KG could be placed on the ramps without any problems and without any danger at any point. Not the slightest slipping or instability could be detected. No creaking could be detected either, meaning that the access ramps were comparatively quieter than steel access ramps. Stepless lowering with several short stops is possible without any problems thanks to the many knobs. The product can be transported in a matter of seconds thanks to its stackability and very lightweight design. The product scored highly on all five test points.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.2 stars. In individual cases, there is criticism that it is not felt to be secure enough. On the other hand, the non-slip and stable design and the high holding power are emphasised positively. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the non-slip and stable design of the ramps is well received by customers. However, consumer criticism of the possible lack of stability was not justified.
Prices of up to €79.90 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very affordable products are available from as little as €56.90 . The Werkthor drive-on ramps are therefore currently in the lower price segment with a price of €59.99. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
