The FairyTrees FT14 Christmas tree is delivered in a single sturdy shipping box, which is tailored to fit the product perfectly and ensures safe transport. Fortunately, no additional plastic packaging was used for the individual segments, which is very positive from an ecological point of view. Nevertheless, the cardboard box reliably protects the contents – all components arrived intact, without scratches or deformations. The scope of delivery includes the tree, consisting of two segments, a solid wooden stand made of real wood and well-structured and clearly formulated assembly instructions. The tree makes a high-quality overall impression as soon as it is unpacked, both in terms of the choice of materials and the construction. Particularly pleasing is the more sustainable packaging solution, which does without unnecessary plastic material – a step in the right direction.

The FairyTrees FT14 Christmas tree impresses immediately after assembly with its very natural appearance. The branches and needles have been manufactured using a combination of injection moulding and PVC technology, creating a realistic look that comes very close to real Nordmann fir trees. The colouring is subtle and natural, without any artificial shine or exaggerated colouring. The workmanship is consistently high quality: the branches are evenly distributed, can be aligned individually and have no sharp edges, loose parts or visible glued joints. They remain dimensionally stable and robust even after repeated handling. The supplied tree stand made of real wood gives the tree additional stability and rounds off the look harmoniously. Although no specific details are given about the sustainability of the materials, the high quality of the materials and workmanship mean that a long service life can be assumed. Overall, the tree makes a high-quality, decorative and durable impression, which clearly sets it apart from simpler competitor products.

The FairyTrees FT14 Christmas tree was extensively evaluated according to standardised criteria as part of the test angel practical test. The tree proved to have excellent stability as soon as it was set up. Even with slight lateral force applied, the tree remained stable and securely anchored without wobbling or shifting. The stability of the branches was also convincing in the test: they easily withstood the weight of decorative elements, could be flexibly bent and always returned to their original shape – a clear indication of the high material quality.
The overall distribution of the needles was predominantly even, with minor irregularities only recognisable on very close inspection. It was particularly pleasant that the tree is odourless. A slight odour was only noticeable shortly after unpacking, but this quickly dissipated and did not affect the air in the room. In terms of needle appearance, the FT14 is impressive across the board: the needles look very high quality and lifelike, with a fine surface structure and authentic colouring. Overall, the tree fulfilled all the key requirements in the practical test with flying colours and left an all-round positive impression.
