Manufacturer’s product description
The FairyTrees FT33 Christmas treein the Alpine fir design is an artistically designed artificial Christmas tree that comes with a height of 180 centimetres and a sturdy wooden stand made of real wood. It offers a stylish, easy-care and sustainable alternative to the classic fir tree and is aimed at discerning households that value an authentic appearance and long-lasting quality. The combination of injection-moulded and PVC needles ensures a particularly lifelike appearance, while the simple plug-in mechanism makes assembly easy.
The stable construction and detailed design areparticularly noteworthy.
However, the packaging concept wasless convincing in the test: after initial assembly, folding and storing the tree is time-consuming, as the branches are difficult to return to the original box.
Despite this minor drawback, the FT33 offers an impressive solution for a festive home – without any needles on the floor.
Advantages
- Lifelike needle pattern
- Easy installation
- Good workmanship
- Sturdy wooden stand
Disadvantages
- Difficult to store in the original box

The FairyTrees FT33 Christmas tree is delivered in a single sturdy shipping box that is tailored to fit the product perfectly and ensures safe transport. Fortunately, there is no additional plastic packaging for the individual segments, which is very positive from an ecological point of view. The box still protects the contents reliably – all components arrived undamaged, without scratches or deformations. The scope of delivery includes the tree, consisting of two segments, a solid wooden stand made of real wood and well-structured, easy-to-understand assembly instructions. Even when unpacking, the tree gives a high-quality overall impression, both in terms of the choice of materials and the construction. The more sustainable packaging solution, which does not use unnecessary plastic material, is particularly pleasing – a step in the right direction.

When assembling the FairyTree FT33for the first time , the attractive, natural design immediately catches the eye. The needles look and feel authentic, and the mixture of injection-moulded and PVC materials ensures a realistic texture. The workmanship is high quality – there are no sharp edges, adhesive residues or loose parts. Even under light pressure, the branches remain dimensionally stable and flexible enough to allow the twigs to be individually aligned. The real wood stand supplied provides a secure footing and underlines the natural overall appearance of the tree. Overall, the tree presents itself visually and haptically as a high-quality decorative object for the Christmas season.

As part of the Test Angel practical test, the FairyTrees FT33 Christmas tree was evaluated in detail according to standardised criteria. As soon as it was set up, it was clear that the tree had excellent stability. Even when subjected to slight lateral force, the tree remained stable and securely anchored without wobbling or shifting. The stability of the branches also impressed in the test: they easily supported the weight of decorative elements, could be bent flexibly and always returned to their original shape – a clear indication of the high quality of the material. The distribution of the needles was predominantly even across the tree, with minor irregularities only visible upon very close inspection. It was particularly pleasing that the tree is odourless. Only shortly after unpacking was a slight plastic smell noticeable, but this quickly dissipated and did not affect the air in the room. In terms of needle appearance, the FT33 is impressive across the board: the needles look very high-quality and lifelike, with a fine surface structure and authentic colouring. Overall, the tree passed all the essential requirements with flying colours in the practical test and left an entirely positive impression.
