The tabletop fireplace from Falkenwerk made a good impression in our test. The tabletop fireplace has two interchangeable combustion cham bers and can be used for a very long time by replacing the two combustion chambers. In addition to the two combustion chambers, the product is also supplied with two different types of stone , so that the table fireplace is also visually appe aling.
Care has also been taken to ensure that the customer can easily replace the firebox using a pair of tongs. Unfortunately, as is usual with products in this category, no fuel paste is included in the set, which is why you have to buy it from the supermarket or DIY store.
However, this is complaining on a high level, as Falkenwerk attaches great importance to the quality and usability of its products.

The Falkenwerk table fireplace was delivered in the typical Amazon box. The box was undamaged and could be opened without any tools by removing the adhesive tape.
The box contained the table fireplace, which was not unnecessarily wrapped in plastic film . Parts requiring protection such as glass elements were wrapped in cardboard and small parts were partly wrapped in normal plastic bags or bubble wrap .
Although this packaging method is unusual, it was effective and the product was delivered without damage.
The packaging method demonstrates a strong identification with the product and care is taken to avoid unnecessary packaging waste caused by plastic film.
The manufacturer has come up with a very good packaging concept .

ℹ️ Most people’s first impression after unpacking is immediately memorable. Are the contents of the pack complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

After receiving the package, we first had to check which items were included. The package contains the base on which the glass is placed, a lid including a rod to extinguish the flame, two different sets of stones for decoration as well as two combustion chambers, tongs for replacing the chambers and a holder for the combustion chambers. An additional ceramic mat was also supplied, which you can cut to size yourself and insert into the combustion chamber once the insert is worn out.
Unfortunately, the set does not include any fuel paste or ethanol and you have to buy this in the supermarket. The reference for this was already on the Amazon page, which is why the fuel paste could be purchased in advance in a supermarket.

If you read the instructions carefully, you will realise that the burning time per combustion chamber is around 120 minutes .
Nevertheless, this is a very attractive way of packaging a product.

ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the product processing. How high quality are the materials used? Is the look and feel satisfactory?

After unpacking the product, the main focus of this step was on how the tabletop fireplace feels and how high-quality the materials used are.
Thanks to its discreet, black design, the Falkenwerk tabletop fireplace has a very high-quality appearance and can be integrated very well into most modern households. In addition to the good workmanship of the product, the stability of the glass and the base are particularly impressive .
In addition to these aspects, the manufacturer has also ensured that the packaging is designed to be very sustainable.
Only those items were wrapped in plastic where no other form of packaging would have made sense.
Overall, the product looks very high quality and is characterised by elegant shapes.

Once the combustion chamber has been filled, nothing stands in the way of a cosy fire in a dark room or at dusk.
Filling the combustion chamber is more difficult depending on the form of bio ethanol used, as the bio ethanol sponge must first be positioned correctly so that the flames can be recognised.
On the positive side, extinguishing the flame and replacing the combustion chamber is easy thanks to the tongs supplied.
A particularly positive feature is that no stones have fallen into the combustion chamber, as the height difference is large enough and the stones do not slip.
Compared to other tabletop fireplaces, we particularly noticed that there is hardly any heat conduction to the base and that it only has a low temperature. Nevertheless, we recommend placing something underneath to prevent heat-sensitive materials from being damaged. The specified burn time in our test is 115 minutes.

ℹ️ Finally, we look at how the product compares to the competition. Can it keep up with the competition in terms of price and quality? Would we generally recommend buying it? We also analyse consumer reviews and check whether the critical and positive reviews are actually justified.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.4 stars. One criticism is that the burning time is slightly less than specified. Many customers like the fact that it is very decorative and very reasonably priced. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the design is very modern and that the burning time was not as specified. Nevertheless, the burning time was only missed by 10 minutes – if you compare the specified burning time with other competitors, it is significantly higher.

With a price of €49.99, the Falkenwerk table fireplace is currently in the middle price segment. The price ratio is reasonable for the quality and the scope of services you get.
