The first impression
Packaging and labeling
ℹ️ Here we take a closer look at packaging. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor. In addition, adequate protection of the product must of course also be ensured.
Criterion | Remark | Score achieved* |
---|---|---|
Product protection | Carton is sturdy, product sufficiently protected | 100 points |
Sustainability Packaging | Item was packed compactly – unfortunately use of plastic bags for packaging (individually understandable due to sterility – large plastic packaging would not have been necessary) | 80 points |
Product labeling | Markings available | 100 points |
Miscellaneous | High-quality packaging, also suitable as a gift | 100 points |
Total | 95 points |
*The maximum score is 100 points
The Happy-Plast brand finger plasters arrived for our test in the typical shipping box, so it was easy to open by removing the adhesive strip and was delivered undamaged.
The box contained the five plaster rolls, each wrapped in a separate plastic bag, and a large plastic bag, which would probably not have been necessary.
Unfortunately, a large plastic bag was used in the packaging of the product to prevent contamination. In this case, the product was completely protected and the finger plasters were therefore in perfect condition.
Unfortunately, the packaging of the finger plasters is not completely recyclable.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.
After unpacking
Package contents and instructions
ℹ️ Most people’s first impression after unpacking is immediately memorable. Are the contents of the package complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?
Criterion | Remark | Score achieved* |
---|---|---|
Package contents & scope | 5 rolls individually packed + operating instructions | 100 points |
Instructions for use | Instruction manual available | 100 points |
Contact information | Can be found on the packaging | 100 points |
Total | 100 points |
*The maximum score is 100 points
The plaster set consists of 5 rolls, which are individually packaged and supplied in the color brown. Each roll is 25 mm wide and approx. 4.5 m long. The CE-certified medical product is HACCP-compliant and is also suitable for use as a dog bandage.
An instruction manual is included with the product and the use of the product is precisely explained to the customer.
A customer hotline is also provided as a contact option. This information is printed directly on the outside of the packaging and can be easily viewed by the customer.
All in all, this is a very good way to ship a product.

This is what our practical test showed
Does the manufacturer keep its advertising promises?
ℹ️ Our practical test is the most relevant and therefore the most important. Here, the product has to undergo a wide range of criteria and tests. We check the functions and product promises of the test article.
Criterion | Remark | Score achieved* |
---|---|---|
Use | Very easy to use – no adhesive residue and easy removal of the plaster possible – however, more material is used compared to conventional adhesive plasters | 95 points |
Load capacity | Plaster is easy to cut to size and can also withstand greater loads | 100 points |
Optics/ Design | Simple design and attractive appearance – fits on every wound | 100 points |
Areas of application | Many areas of application – can be used both with and without wound ointment | 100 points |
Total | 99 points |
*The maximum score is 100 points
We tested the plasters extensively and were pleasantly surprised by the special skin sensitivity. The natural self-adhesion makes it easier to treat wounds and it is also easy to apply a wound or healing ointment. The plaster is immediately ready for use and the plaster roll is simply wrapped around the wound. This is particularly practical when you’re on the go or when you need to be quick.
However, you should bear in mind that you need relatively more material than with adhesive plasters, as you have to wrap the plaster around the desired area at least once.
The plaster is waterproof, breathable and elastic. This promotes wound healing and the plaster does not come off even when it comes into contact with water. Washing hands, showering or working in the kitchen are therefore possible without the plaster falling off.
The pain-free removal of the plaster is also particularly positive. The cohesive properties prevent the plaster from sticking to skin and hair. This also makes the finger plaster ideal for children, who are often more sensitive to the removal of plasters.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the finger plasters and are happy to recommend them to others.
Price/performance ratio
and ratings from consumers
ℹ️ Finally, we look at how the product compares to the competition. Can it keep up with the competition in terms of price and quality? Would we generally recommend buying it? We also examine consumer ratings and check whether the critical and positive reviews are actually justified.
Criterion | Remark | Score achieved* |
---|---|---|
Price / performance ratio | Good price-performance ratio | 85 points |
Rating cut | 4.6 out of 5.0 stars on Amazon | 80 points |
Total | 83 points |
*The maximum score is 100 points
On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.6 stars. One criticism is that you need a lot of material for a bandage/plaster and that it is relatively more expensive than standard adhesive plasters. Many customers like the fact that the plaster holds very well and can be removed without leaving any adhesive residue and therefore without any pain. We were also able to confirm these points in our practical test.
Prices of up to €16.99 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €7.99. In our test, the Happy-Plast brand finger plasters are therefore in the middle price segment with a price of €12.26. The price ratio is good for the quality and scope of services offered.
