The folding pliers from the WERKTHOR brand made a good impression in the test. The product makes it possible for anyone to bend metal. When you buy the folding pliers, you get three sets of folding pliers, each with a different angle.
The individual pliers are made of robust, alloy steel and are each coloured black. The jaw width of the individual pliers is 60 mm.
The folding pliers also have other extras such as an anti-slip coating, which makes it very difficult to slip when working with the pliers.
Nevertheless, it should be mentioned that some edges with the folding pliers are not particularly good, as the jaws of the folding pliers do not have a straight edge. This is particularly noticeable when you look at the pictures in the practical section.

The WERKTHOR folding pliers arrived for our test in the typical shipping box, so it was easy to open by removing the adhesive strip and was delivered undamaged.
The box contained three folding pliers with different angles. To protect the folding pliers from shock and soiling, a device was integrated into the box to hold the pliers in place. In this case, the product was fully protected and the pliers were therefore in perfect condition.
Unfortunately, the packaging of the folding pliers is not completely recyclable.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, there were three folding pliers on the workbench. The folding pliers only differ in the angle they use (45°/90°/ 180°).
Unfortunately, there are no instructions for use or care with the folding pliers.
Nevertheless, the use of the folding pliers can be understood through Internet research, but as a layman you have no clues as to which materials and which material thicknesses are particularly suitable for this tool and have to find this out in your own research.

All in all, we still think this is a good way to send a product, but a small instruction manual/care instructions would have been desirable.

The WERKTHOR folding pliers made a good visual impression in the test. However, it is noticeable on the pliers supplied that the edges do not rest one hundred per cent on the opposite edges. However, the simple design and non-slip handle make up for this and guarantee the craftsman a good grip on the tool.
The product impresses with its relatively high weight and sturdy workmanship. The customer is supplied with three high-quality folding pliers, which can provide the customer with excellent service.
Unfortunately, there is no information about sustainability on the Amazon product page or on the packaging. Due to the high-quality materials used, we also assume a long service life.

The pliers all fit well in the hand and never slipped thanks to the grip.
Nevertheless, it should be mentioned that the folding pliers unfortunately do not come with any operating instructions or care instructions, so as a layman you first have to google what to look out for when using them and which materials are suitable.
Another point of criticism on our part is that the edges of the folding pliersdo not lie exactly on top of each other, which can result in some curved areas when bending sheet metal. This is probably not too bad for DIY enthusiasts, but still harbours a small risk of despair for the perfectionists among DIY enthusiasts.
Nevertheless, we are talking about three folding pliers that fit very well in the hand and fit into any workshop thanks to their attractive design.
Another plus point is the packaging, which can still be used for storage so that the tools are always easy to find in the same place in the workshop.
