The Forche FO-002 child seat base is a practical addition for family cars and offers comprehensive protection for car seats – whether on short journeys or long journeys. Developed for use under child seats, it reliably protects the seat surfaces from wear and tear, dirt and moisture. We were particularly impressed by the universal fit, which is compatible with almost every vehicle model. The anti-slip underside also provides additional safety. The practical storage compartments and the special loop for attaching toys are a real plus – a well thought-out detail, especially for reboarder seats.
In addition to its robust workmanship, the product also offers excellent protection against dirt.
However, an even lower inherent odour when new would have been desirable.

The Forche FO-002 child seat base makes a well thought-out impression as soon as it is unpacked. The packaging consists of a sturdy cardboard box that protects the product securely. A particularly positive feature is the fact that unnecessary packaging waste has been deliberately avoided, which emphasises the brand’s commitment to sustainability. The scope of delivery is complete, all components are present and neatly organised. The product instructions are clearly printed on the packaging itself and are therefore directly visible – a simple but effective detail.
Prüfengel GmbH rates the packaging and scope of delivery as customer-friendly, sustainable and complete – in line with an environmentally conscious consumer experience. The plastic-free packaging and clear communication of the assembly instructions in particular leave a positive overall impression.

The first time you touch the Forche FO-002 child seat base, you immediately notice the high-quality workmanship. The materials are not only robust, but also pleasant to the touch. The underlay is very stable and yet can be positioned flexibly in the vehicle. Visually, the product impresses with its modern and unobtrusive design, which integrates well into various vehicle interiors.
The sustainable idea behind the product should also be emphasised: the plastic-free packaging and the partnership with Planet Tree show that Forche not only pays attention to functionality, but also to environmental protection. In the everyday test, the Forche FO-002 child seat pad proves to be an extremely useful accessory. Crumbs and liquids can be removed for the most part without any problems using standard household cleaners, even if minimal residues may remain on closer inspection. The fit was convincing in all vehicles tested – the underlay covers the seat surface perfectly and stays in place thanks to the anti-slip coating.
It is also compatible with various child seats, although minor adjustments may be necessary in individual cases. A slight but unobtrusive odour when new evaporates quickly and is no reason for complaint. Overall, the practical test confirms this: The advertising promises are largely fulfilled, especially in terms of protection, cleaning and stability.
