This product was delivered in a cardboard box that was well matched to the size of the product contents.
Only the sealing ring was included in the scope of delivery . Instructions for use were not included. The latter is not absolutely necessary, but would be a nice addition.
The brush seal is packaged in plastic – it would be desirable for the manufacturer to consider a more environmentally friendly packaging option.

The quality of the bristles is noticeable on first inspection.
The bristles are hard-wearing and very even.
This product was supplied in black and grey . Both colours are compatible with a wide range of doors and windows and were therefore very well chosen by the manufacturer.
An adhesive strip is attached to the back of the brush seal , under which there is an adhesive for attaching the product.
An initial test (touching the adhesive surface) shows that the product has a high adhesive strength .
The dimensions of the product appear to be appropriate for the intended use.

The self-adhesive brush seal from GECKOSEAL was subjected to an extensive practical test on windows and doors.
In terms of length and customisability, the product is completely convincing: the sealing tape can easily be cut to the desired size with scissors .
The adhesive strength of the tape is very strong and the brush seal does not detach from the window despite being pulled tight. With regard to reusability, however, the manufacturer’s recommendation that the tape should not be used more than once and should be left in place permanently once it has been applied.
In the practical test, the good resistance to water and cleaning agents was noticeable – the product can be cleaned without any problems.
This product also scored points for its ease of application and handling, which can be carried out without the need for instructions.
The self-adhesive brush seal is a high-quality product that is ideally suited for long-term use.
