The hot air fryer from the GIDGIMO brand is an air fryer in size XL with a capacity of 8.5 litres.
Due to the large capacity, meals for up to eight people can be prepared in the deep fryer. Depending on requirements, the preparation time (between one and sixty minutes) and the temperature (80 – 200 degrees) can be freely selected. The hot air fryer has a colour LED touch display with twelve pre-set functions for different foods. A transparent window on the front of the deep fryer allows you to monitor the cooking process of the food. The attachment is completely removable and dishwasher-safe, ensuring easy cleaning. According to the manufacturer, the tested product is 50 % faster than conventional ovens or hot air fryers. The Airfryer method also saves 50 % energy and 85 % fat.

When you pick up the product for the first time, you immediately notice its weight. However, as it is a larger deep fryer, the weight is justified.
After reading the easy-to-understand instructions for use, a few components still need to be cleaned before the frying process can be started.
Both the pull-out tray and the frying grid make a stable and high-quality impression.
After switching on , the various LEDs light up, making it much easier to set the correct programme. The small graphics, which use symbols to indicate the respective cooking programme for a food, are intuitive to use.
The first impression of this product is very positive. It has a high-quality appearance and is easy to operate.

The hot air fryer was subjected to a thorough practical test.
The temperature control was very precise and easy to set . Thanks to the precision, very good cooking results were achieved.
Products such as sweet potato fries were crispy and nicely browned on all sides.
The timer function was also impressive in the practical test.
The heating function also deserves a positive mention – it managed to heat the food very quickly and evenly.
The coloured LEDs ensure simple and intuitive operation of the appliance; the frying process can be started with just a few clicks.
The deep fryer was cleaned after the cooking process. This product impressed us with its uncomplicated cleaning process: the basket is removable and dishwasher-safe, so that time can also be saved after using the appliance.
This product scored highly in the practical test thanks to itsuncomplicated handling, versatile options and time-efficient cleaning.
