Test result preview
The magnetic board from GOODS + GADGETS is a successful and practical product that can be used in any household to keep notes, messages, postcards and other information visible to everyone.
In our practical test, the product not only impressed us with its appealing wooden look. We were also impressed by the robust construction of the board and the simple and flexible mounting thanks to the mounting materials supplied. The manufacturer also supplies a full range of accessories, including a chalk pen and magnets, so that the product can be used immediately. Only the somewhat rough surface of the magnets caused minor criticism in our test. Overall, however, the product is a reliable addition to any household to ensure that no notes are lost in the sometimes hectic everyday life.

Packaging and contents
Here we take a closer look at packaging. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor. In addition, adequate protection of the product must of course also be guaranteed. Are the contents of the packaging complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

The magnetic board from GOODS+GADGETS makes a very good impression as soon as it arrives. The inside of the very compact cardboard box is additionally lined with corrugated cardboard , which not only provides optimum protection for the product inside, but also sustainable protection, as the manufacturer can thus dispense with the use of plastic. The product is therefore fully protected . Inside the box we find the magnetic board, a chalk pen, four magnets and a small bag containing the mounting materials. A small illustrated instruction leaflet explains how to use the latter. Instructions for use are neither desirable nor necessary, as the board is self-explanatory.

On closer inspection of the individual parts, the manufacturer is equally impressive.
Visually, the magnetic board has a rustic and appealing wooden look . The design looks tasteful and appropriate.
The surfaces and edges appear well finished overall and have no recognisable defects. The enclosed accessories also show no external damage and appear reliable overall.
The frame makes a stable and robust impression in relation to its intended use. Light pushing and pulling is unproblematic and does not cause any damage. We therefore consider the product to be of high quality overall and assume that it will have a long service life if used properly. Apart from this, however, the manufacturer unfortunately does not provide any further information on the sustainability of the product, which is a shame and would be desirable to round off an otherwise successful product.

The magnetic board from GOODS+GADGETS also passed our practical test and almost completely fulfils the manufacturer’s advertising promises.
To do this, we first took a closer look at the board itself. The surface is smooth and very well made. The flat and even writing zone offers a good feel when using the pen and magnets and also looks good.
Both the magnets supplied by the manufacturer and alternative magnets hold reliably on the magnetic board. Depending on the strength of the magnet used, postcards, notes etc. can be attached. The magnets supplied by the manufacturer were sufficient for attaching everyday notes, papers and cards.
Unfortunately, the surface of the magnets supplied was a little rough and caused slight scratch marks on the board surface when moved, which could be removed with a damp cloth. An appropriate coating would be desirable. The chalk pen supplied, on the other hand, could be used without any restrictions and produced precise white lines and lettering without the white fingers typical of chalk after use. We are therefore largely satisfied with the accessories supplied. In addition, a fastening clip for the pen would be desirable, as it is not magnetic and must therefore be stored separately.
To round off the product completely, a cleaning cloth or sponge would also be useful. We used a common drugstore product for this in our test. Using a damp cloth, we were able to remove all writing and drawings without any problems.
We were largely satisfied with the mounting options on the wall. We liked the flexible positioning of the mounting brackets so that the board can be used both horizontally and vertically. At the same time, it was rather difficult to mount using only a screwdriver, so in our test we used a small hand drill to make four holes for the screws. A note on this would be desirable.
All in all, however, the manufacturer offers a great overall package that is suitable for immediate use and can be a useful addition to any household.

At the time of testing, the product had not been listed on Amazon for long enough. Therefore, the existing reviews do not sufficiently reflect the advantages and disadvantages of the product, so this point is neglected in the evaluation
Prices of up to €45.95 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very affordable products are available from as little as €19.99 . The GOODS + GADGETS tablet is therefore currently in the lower price segment with a price of €22.95. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
