The first impression of the smoking wood is of high quality. The sticks are neatly finished and have a simple, natural design that emphasises the authenticity of the product. They are evenly cut and sit comfortably in the hand. The finish is sturdy so that the chopsticks retain their shape even after repeated use and do not break easily. In terms of sustainability, the product is made from 100% natural wood obtained from fallen branches, which helps to conserve resources and make production more environmentally friendly.

The Palo Santo incense wood from Hevela was thoroughly tested in practice. The incense sticks burned evenly and produced a constant amount of smoke. The fragrance spread quickly through the room and remained very perceptible for 50 to 60 minutes. The intensity of the fragrance decreased slightly during the test, but remained constant. Handling was uncomplicated: The sticks were easy to light, extinguish and use several times without losing stability. The smoke from the wood led to a noticeable improvement in relaxation and general well-being, which showed comparable results to other incense products.
Overall, the Hevela incense wood impressed with its even burning, long-lasting fragrance development and noticeable relaxation-enhancing effects.
